Abstract

Sektor praiwisata di Indonesia saat ini berkembang pesat, hal ini menghadirkan peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi industri pariwisata, khususnya di daerah Bali. Bali merupakan salah satu lokasi dengan perkembangan bisnis pariwisata yang tertinggi di Indonesia. Perkembangan zaman mendorong inovasi pada perancangan bangunan dengan karya-karya yang lebih modern. Maka dari itu beberapa bangunan di bali banyak mengadopsi konsep desain modern tanpa mengelevasi desain budaya Bali itu sendiri. Proyek Rock away Resto and Café yang berlokasikan di Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli, Bali merupakan salah satu sektor wisata yang direncanakan dapat memberikan fasilitas seperti tempat makan, bersantai, dan berkumpul. Metodologi desain yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data secara langsung dan tidak langsung. Untuk memastikan kondisi saat ini, observasi lapangan dilakukan di lokasi proyek Rock Away Cafe and Resto untuk memperoleh data primer. Selanjutnya, tujuan dari analisis kuesioner dan wawancara adalah untuk mengetahui harapan dan tujuan dari calon pengunjung. Data sekunder sebagai data pelengkap, dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber, seperti buku, majalah, jurnal, dan tesis terdahulu. Konsep bangunan terpilih adalah perpaduan antara konsep Industrial Modern dan nuansa Etnik Bali. Konsep tersebut dihararapkan dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman sehingga pelaku usaha mampu bersaing juga tetap berkontribusi dalam melestarikan budaya setempat. Kebudayaan yang modern dan inovatif akan berdampak pada daya tarik calon pengunjung dan memanjakan pengunjung Rock Away Café and Resto dikarenakan mampu memberikan kesan identitas yang unik secara visual.

The tourism sector in Indonesia is growing quite rapidly, this presents both opportunities and challenges for the tourism industry, especially in the Bali area. Bali is one of the locations with the highest tourism business development in Indonesia. The development of the times encourages technological innovation which has an impact on the design of buildings with more modern works. Therefore, some buildings in Bali adopt modern design concepts without evolving the Balinese cultural design itself. The Rock away Resto and Café project located in Kintamani, Bangli Regency, Bali is one of the tourism sectors that is planned to provide facilities such as places to eat, relax, and gather.
The design methodology used is direct and indirect data collection. To ascertain the current conditions, field observations were conducted at the Rock Away Cafe and Resto project site to obtain primary data. Furthermore, the purpose of questionnaire analysis and interviews is to find out the expectations and goals of potential visitors. Secondary data as complementary data, collected from various sources, such as books, magazines, journals, and previous theses. The selected building concept is a combination of the concept of Industrial Modern and Balinese Ethnic nuances. The concept is expected to keep up with the times so that business actors are able to compete while still contributing to preserving local culture. Modern and innovative culture will have an impact on attracting potential visitors and pampering visitors to Rock Away Café and Resto because it is able to give the impression of a unique identity visually.
