Abstract

Pengelolaan kapasitas gudang yang efektif merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menjaga kelancaran operasional sebuah perusahaan, terutama pada gudang dengan skala besar. Pada gudang yang luas, proses pencarian tempat penyimpanan yang tersedia sering kali memakan waktu karena pekerja harus berkeliling untuk menemukan rak kosong. Hal ini tidak hanya mengakibatkan ketidakefisienan waktu dan tenaga, tetapi juga menimbulkan masalah dalam penataan barang, di mana barang sering kali ditempatkan secara acak dan tidak teratur. Aplikasi yang kami buat adalah Aplikasi Monitoring Capacity Warehouse, aplikasi dibuat dengan menggunakan framework Laravel dan database SQL server. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk monitoring dan meningkatkan efektivitas serta efisiensi waktu dalam penyimpanan dan pencarian barang di warehouse PT Indoprima Gemilang Plant 1. Dengan implementasi aplikasi Monitoring Capacity Warehouse, perusahaan dapat meminimalkan waktu pencarian tempat penyimpanan kosong dan memastikan penataan barang dilakukan secara lebih sistematis. Aplikasi ini juga memberikan data real-time yang dapat membantu pengambilan keputusan terkait pengelolaan kapasitas gudang. Dengan demikian, diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk mendukung operasional gudang yang lebih efisien dan terorganisir.

Effective warehouse capacity management is one of the critical factors in ensuring smooth operational processes for a company, especially in large-scale warehouses. In expansive warehouses, the process of locating available storage spaces often takes considerable time, as workers need to walk around to find empty racks. This not only results in inefficiencies in time and effort but also creates issues in item organization, where items are often placed randomly and haphazardly. The application we developed is the Warehouse Capacity Monitoring Application, built using the Laravel framework and an SQL Server database. This application is designed to monitor and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of storage and item retrieval processes in the warehouse of PT Indoprima Gemilang Plant 1. With the implementation of the Warehouse Capacity Monitoring Application, the company can minimize the time needed to locate empty storage spaces and ensure that item organization is carried out more systematically. This application also provides real-time data to support decision-making related to warehouse capacity management. Therefore, this application is expected to serve as an effective solution to support more efficient and organized warehouse operations.
