Abstract

This research focuses on the efforts of the PRICILLA MARGIE brand, part of CV SANTOON INDONESIA, in facing the challenges of color inconsistency arising from the use of natural dyes in its production process. As a brand that adopts Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, PRICILLA MARGIE brand strives to minimize negative impacts on the environment, particularly in reducing water pollution caused by the textile dyeing process. However, this natural dyeing faces the risk of color inconsistency caused by environmental factors, raw material quality, as well as dyeing techniques. To address this issue, this study combines the SWOT Analysis, Fishbone method and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify the main causes of color inconsistency and analyze potential risks at each stage of the production process. Through this approach, the most critical risks will be prioritized for corrective action based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value. The implementation of this method is expected to not only help PRICILLA MARGIE brand maintain product quality and improve customer satisfaction, but also provide guidance for other companies looking to integrate sustainability principles in their operations. This research makes an important contribution to the development of risk management strategies focusing on natural dyeing, in line with the global trend towards more environmentally friendly industries. The study reveals that color inconsistency in the PRICILLA MARGIE brand is caused by differences in artisans' work standards and environmental conditions, such as fabric drying locations and raw material quality. The FMEA method identified the highest risk (RPN 425.5) in drying fabrics under direct sunlight. Recommended mitigation includes covered drying areas, artisan training, and stricter SOP implementation.
