Abstract

Masa dini merupakan masa yang penting, hal itu dikarenakan anak mengalami perkembangan yang pesat pada setiap aspek perkembangannya yang kemudian mempengaruhi individu tersebut pada jangka panjang pertumbuhannya sampai dewasa. Jati Diri membahas tentang mengenali, mengekspresikan, dan mengelola emosi diri serta membangun hubungan sosial secara sehat, serta mengenal dan memiliki perilaku positif dan kebanggan sebagai anak Indonesia, juga menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan, aturan, dan norma yang berlaku. Panggung boneka merupakan permainan yang dapat membantu perkembangan sosial emosional anak TK/KB. Tema desain yang dipilih berdasarkan ketertarikan anak kepada karakter hewan. Cerita dongeng yang dipilih merepresentasikan 5 kompetensi Social-Emotional Learning. Pembuatan produk melalui tahapan studi literatur, wawancara dan observasi, uji coba produk, dan inovasi produk. Wawancara dan observasi dilakukan pada tiga PAUD/TK/KB dan satu komunitas Kumpul Dongeng. Produk pengembangan yang dipilih adalah panggung boneka. Pengembangan pada panggung boneka adalah sistem portable, lampu LED, speaker, website dan cranky. Boneka tangan merupakan komponen pada permainan panggung boneka. Perkembangan boneka tangan terdapat pada pergantian karakter, dengan sistem interchangeable menggunakan mekanisme jointing. Komponen penunjang lain merupakan kartu edukatif dan ekspresi interchangeable.

Early childhood is an essential period for children. Children experience rapid development in every aspect of their development, which influences long-term growth until reaching adulthood. Identity discusses about recognizing, expressing, and managing one's emotions as well as building healthy social relationships, as well as recognizing and having positive behavior and a sense of pride of being Indonesian children, as well as adapting to the environment, rules and norms that apply. Puppet theater is an educational play that helps enhance social emotional growth in early childhood. The theme of the design is chosen based on children’s interest in animal characters. The stories chosen for the play represent the 5 competencies of social-emotional learning. Defining the solution is done through literature study, inverviews and observations, as well as product innovation. Interviews and observations were conducted at three kindergartens and a storytelling community, Kumpul Dongeng. For solution, puppet theater was chosen. Puppet theater was developed by adding portability as chosen design system, LED lighting, speakers, website, and cranky. Hand puppets are part of the play of puppet theater. Hand puppets were developed by adding an interchangeable system to change characters, using a jointing mechanism. Other supporting components are educational cards and interchangeable expressions.
