Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas optimum meliputi konsentrasi dan waktu serta studi gangguan campuran ion pengganggu Zn2+ dalam penentuan Fe (II) Fenantrolin dengan pereduksi hidroksilamin hidroklorida, timah (II) klorida dan natrium oksalat menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Kompleks Fe (II) Fenantrolin memiliki panjang gelombang pada 510 nm untuk ketiga reduktor. Aktivitas optimum konsentrasi untuk pereduksi hidroksilamin hidroklorida dan timah (II) klorida diperoleh pada konsentrasi 6 ppm sedangkan pada pereduksi natrium oksalat pada konsentrasi 8 ppm. Selanjutnya aktivitas optimum waktu pendiaman untuk pereduksi hidroksilamin hidroklorida dan timah (II) klorida diperoleh pada waktu pendiaman 30 menit sedangkan pada pereduksi natrium oksalat pada waktu pendiaman 45 menit. Pengukuran kurva kalibrasi pada pereduksi hidroksilamin hidroklorida, timah (II) klorida dan natrium oksalat memiliki nilai koefisien determinasi berturut-turut sebesar 0,996; 0,9973; 0,9968. Ion Zn2+ dapat mengganggu analisa Fe (II) Fenantrolin dengan menaikkan atau menurunkan absorbansi besi. Pada reduktor hidroksilamin hidroklorida ion Zn2+ mulai mengganggu pada konsentrasi 0,1 ppm dengan %recovery sebesar 92,10%, sedangkan pada reduktor timah (II) klorida mulai mengganggu pada konsentrasi 0 ppm hingga 0,1 ppm dengan %recovery berturut-turut sebesar 79,190% dan 86,743%, dan tidak mengganggu pada konsentrasi 0,2 ppm dan 0,3 ppm dengan %recovery berturut-turut sebesar 98,715% dan 104,493% setelah itu mengganggu kembali pada konsentrasi 0,4 ppm hingga 0,5 ppm dengan %recovery berturut-turut sebesar 106,268% dan 120,995%. Pada reduktor natrium oksalat ion Zn2+ mulai mengganggu pada konsentrasi 0,3 ppm dengan %recovery sebesar 106,550%.

This research to determine the optimum activity including concentration and time, as well as to study the interference of Zn2+ ion mixture in the determination of Fe (II) Phenanthroline using hydroxylamine hydrochloride, tin (II) chloride, and sodium oxalate as reducing agents using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The Fe (II) Phenanthroline complex has a wavelength of 510 nm for all three reducing agents. The optimum concentration activity for hydroxylamine hydrochloride and tin (II) chloride reducers was obtained at a concentration of 6 ppm, while for sodium oxalate reducer at a concentration of 8 ppm. Furthermore, the optimum incubation time activity for hydroxylamine hydrochloride and tin (II) chloride reducers was obtained at an incubation time of 30 minutes, while for sodium oxalate reducer at an incubation time of 45 minutes. Measurement of the calibration curve for hydroxylamine hydrochloride, tin (II) chloride, and sodium oxalate reducers yielded coefficient of determination values of 0,996; 0,9973; 0.9968, respectively. Zn2+ ions can interfere with the analysis of Fe (II) Phenanthroline by increasing or decreasing iron absorbance. For the hydroxylamine hydrochloride reducer, Zn2+ ions begin to interfere at a concentration of 0,1 ppm with a recovery percentage of 92,10%, while for the tin (II) chloride reducer, interference begins at concentrations of 0 ppm to 0,1 ppm with recovery percentages of 79,190% and 86,743%, respectively. It does not interfere at concentrations of 0,2 ppm and 0,3 ppm with recovery percentages of 98,715% and 104,493%, respectively, but then interferes again at concentrations of 0,4 ppm to 0,5 ppm with recovery percentages of 106,268% and 120,995%, respectively. For the sodium oxalate reducer, Zn2+ ions begin to interfere at a concentration of 0,3 ppm with a recovery percentage of 106,550%.
