Abstract

Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, kebutuhan pangan di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk. Khususnya pada kebutuhan daging sapi yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi dan protein yang penting bagi tubuh manusia. Peningkatan tersebut tidak diikuti dengan peningkatan akan daging sapi potong. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa produksi daging sapi di Indonesia masih belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan yang terus meningkat. Dengan kekurangan tersebut, saat ini pemerintah mengupayakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut melalui daging sapi impor. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi daging sapi potong berdasarkan 34 provinsi di Indonesia tahun 2020 sampai 2022. Dengan menggunakan 34 provinsi di Indonesia sebagai data cross-section dan tahun 2020 sampai 2022 sebagai data runtun waktu, peneliti menggunakan metode regresi data panel. Regresi data panel merupakan regresi yang digunakan pada data panel atau kombinasi antara cross section dengan data time series. Analisis ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi daging sapi di Indonesia. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu faktor-faktor yang memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap produksi daging sapi berdasarkan provinsi di Indonesia tahun 2020 sampai 2022, antara lain jumlah sapi yang dipotong di RPH/TPH, populasi sapi, dan jumlah penduduk. Namun, konsumsi daging sapi dan kerbau tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap produksi daging sapi

As time goes by, the need for food in Indonesia continues to increase along with the increase in population. Especially in the need for beef which has nutrients and protein content that are important for the human body. The increase was not followed by an increase in beef cuts. This shows that beef production in Indonesia is still not able to meet the increasing demand. With these shortcomings, the government is currently trying to meet these needs through imported beef. Therefore, this study aims to find out the factors that affect beef production based on 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2020 to 2022. Using 34 provinces in Indonesia as cross-section data and 2020 to 2022 as time sequence data, the researcher used the panel data regression method. Panel data regression is a regression used in panel data or a combination of cross section and time series data. This analysis is expected to provide knowledge about the factors that affect beef production in Indonesia. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, conclusions were obtained that are factors that have a positive influence on beef production based on provinces in Indonesia from 2020 to 2022, including the number of cattle slaughtered in RPH/TPH, cattle population, and the number of populations. However, the consumption of beef and buffalo has no effect on beef production.
