Abstract

Revitalisasi ex tanggul di koridor jalan MH. Thamrin Kabupaten Bojonegoro menjadi ruang publik Thamrin Park memiliki tujuan positif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosio-ekonomi masyarakat. Namun di sisi lain, terjadi perubahan fungsi dan makna kawasan dari sebuah sistem ruang terbatas dengan fungsi tunggal sebagai tanggul menjadi ruang publik yang bersifat inklusif dengan aksesibilitas terbuka untuk masyarakat umum. Perubahan tersebut dapat mempengaruhi persepsi sense of place masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar kawasan tersebut sehingga menciptakan peluang dan tantangan baru yang harus dikelola secara bijaksana dengan partisipasi masyarakat lokal. Selanjutnya untuk menjelaskan komponen dari sense of place menggunakan kerangka teoritis pengembangan teori yang dicetuskan oleh David Canter mengenai sense of place yang berhubungan dengan trilogi konsep place berupa aspek form, meaning, dan activity. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menilai sense of place pada ruang publik Thamrin Park Bojonegoro dengan dua sasaran dan tahapan analisis yang dilakukan. Pertama, menentukan sub variabel yang berpengaruh dalam membentuk sense of place pada Thamrin Park Bojonegoro dengan menggunakan analisis delphi. Kedua menilai kualitas sense of place pada Thamrin Park Bojonegoro dengan menggunakan analisis GAP dan CSI. Berdasarkan analisis Gap dengan menilai selisih antara kinerja dan kepentingan enam sub variabel memiliki nilai negatif yang menunjukkan bahwa sub variabel pembentuk sense of place tersebut masih belum mampu memenuhi harapan atau kebutuhan pengguna taman. Keenam sub variabel tersebut adalah konfigurasi ruang (V2), walkability (V4), landmark taman (V6), identitas kawasan (V12), kenyamanan suara (V18), dan kenyamanan termal (V19). Hasil perhitungan Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) adalah sebesar 81% yang mana memiliki arti bahwa sense of place pada Thamrin Park Bojonegoro dalam kategori good atau baik.

Revitalization of the former embankment in the MH. Thamrin road corridor, Bojonegoro Regency into the Thamrin Park public space has a positive goal of improving the socio-economic welfare of the community. However, on the other hand, there has been a change in the function and meaning of the area from a limited space system with a single function as an embankment to an inclusive public space with open accessibility for the general public. These changes can affect the perception of the sense of place of the community living around the area, thereby creating new opportunities and challenges that must be managed wisely with the participation of the local community. Furthermore, to explain the components of the sense of place using the theoretical framework of the development of the theory initiated by David Canter regarding the sense of place related to the trilogy of the place concept in the form of aspects of form, meaning, and activity. The purpose of this study is to assess the sense of place in the Thamrin Park Bojonegoro public space with two targets and stages of analysis carried out. First, analyzing the sub-variables that influence the formation of the sense of place in Thamrin Park Bojonegoro using Delphi analysis. Second, assessing the quality of the sense of place in Thamrin Park Bojonegoro using GAP and CSI analysis. Based on the Gap analysis by assessing the difference between the performance and interests of the six sub-variables, it has a negative value indicating that the sub-variables that form the sense of place are still unable to meet the expectations or needs of park users. The six sub-variables are space configuration (V2), walkability (V4), park landmarks (V6), area identity (V12), sound comfort (V18), and thermal comfort (V19). The result of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) calculation is 81% which means that the sense of place at Thamrin Park Bojonegoro is in the good category.
