Abstract

Penanaman tanaman dan pembangunan ruang terbuka hijau di Kota Surabaya merupakan inisiatif Pemerintah Kota Surabaya, yang diarahkan untuk memenuhi pedoman penyediaan ruang terbuka hijau di kawasan perkotaan. Taman Bungkul merupakan salah satu hasil dari inisiatif tersebut. Pada awalnya, taman ini hanya berupa area terbuka luas dan kompleks makam Mbah Bungkul sehingga kegiatan ziarah mendominasi area ini. Adanya revitalisasi Taman Bungkul oleh Pemkot Surabaya mendorong bercampurnya fungsi yang lebih ke arah rekreatif dibandingkan religi. Keberhasilan revitalisasi tersebutlah yang mendorong terjadinya proses pencampuran beraneka fungsi ruang. Bercampurnya beragam fungsi pada ruang publik merupakan fenomena yang unik karena tidak umum dan jarang terjadi secara berkelanjutan hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fenomena keruangan yang terjadi di Taman Bungkul tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis delphi dalam merumuskan faktor-faktor terkait dengan fenomena keruangan di Taman Bungkul. Selanjutnya, output dari analisi delphi tersebut menjadi input data dalam metode story photo descriptive analysis yang digunakan untuk memperoleh kajian terperinci mengenai fenomena keruangan yang terjadi di Taman Bungkul. Dari hasil analisis delphi, diperoleh faktor – faktor terkait dengan fenomena keruangan di Taman Bungkul berupa fungsi ekologis, fungsi estetika, fungsi ekonomi, fungsi sosial budaya dan fungsi spiritual. Faktor – faktor tersebut kemudian diolah dengan story photo descriptive analysis yang menghasilkan temuan berupa penjabaran fungsi ekologis, fungsi estetika, fungsi ekonomi, fungsi sosial budaya dan fungsi spiritual secara mendalam. Selain itu terdapat temuan bentuk konfigurasi spasial Taman Bungkul berupa pola mobilitas pengunjung, zonasi pemanfaatan ruang, zonasi spiritual ruang, dan zonasi penguasaan ruang yang berdasar dari pemaknaan fungsi ruang. Kajian ini juga memperoleh temuan fenomena keruangan berupa hierarki ruang serta keterkaitan antar ruang di Taman Bungkul

Planting and development of green open spaces in Surabaya City is an initiative of the Surabaya City Government, which is directed to fulfill the guidelines for the provision of green open spaces in urban areas. Bungkul Park is one of the results of this initiative. At first, this park was only a large open area and the grave complex of Mbah Bungkul so that pilgrimage activities dominated this area. The revitalization of Bungkul Park by the Surabaya City Government encouraged a mix of functions that were more recreational than religious. The success of the revitalization is what encourages the process of mixing various spatial functions. The mixing of various functions in public spaces is a unique phenomenon because it is not common and rarely occurs on an ongoing basis until now. This research aims to examine the spatial phenomenon that occurs in Taman Bungkul. This research uses the delphi analysis method in formulating factors related to spatial phenomena in Bungkul Park. Furthermore, the output of the delphi analysis becomes data input in the story photo descriptive analysis method used to obtain a detailed study of the spatial phenomena that occur in Bungkul Park. From the results of the delphi analysis, factors related to spatial phenomena in Taman Bungkul were obtained in the form of ecological functions, aesthetic functions, economic functions, socio-cultural functions and spiritual functions. These factors are then processed with story photo descriptive analysis which produces findings in the form of an in-depth description of ecological functions, aesthetic functions, economic functions, socio-cultural functions and spiritual functions. In addition, there are findings in the form of spatial configuration of Taman Bungkul in the form of visitor mobility patterns, space utilization zoning, space spiritual zoning, and space control zoning based on the meaning of space functions. This study also found spatial phenomena in the form of spatial hierarchy and interrelationships between spaces in Taman Bungkul.
