Abstract
Media animasi “The Reflection on Lifestyle” mendapat validasi dari ahli media sebesar 76% (Cukup Valid) dan ahli materi sebesar 84% (Valid). Hasil Target Audience Validation anak usia 12 – 15 tahun dengan analisis data menggunakan Uji Paired t-test adalah animasi The Reflection on Lifestyle menunjukkan responden mengalami peningkatan skor dengan rata-rata 27,34% dan rerata pengetahuan responden setelah diberikan intervensi adalah 96,00 (p-value 0,0039).

The increased consumption of salt, sugar, and fat is one of the contributing factors to non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Children become more vulnerable to these diseases between the ages of 10 and 14. In Indonesia, adolescents still face the issue of double burden of malnutrition, which includes both undernutrition and overnutrition. According to the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) surveys of 2010 and 2018, approximately one in five school-aged children is overweight or obese. Currently, there is a lack of engaging media that effectively captures teenagers' attention regarding salt, sugar, and fat consumption. To address this issue, a 2D animated educational video is designed to enhance the knowledge of adolescents aged 12–15 about daily salt, sugar, and fat intake, helping them avoid obesity-related diseases. The design of this animation employs a mixed-method approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods. The qualitative methods include literature review, existing studies, interviews with stakeholders, observations, data collection from the audience through focus group discussions (FGD), and sample collection. The quantitative approach involves surveys and questionnaires. Additionally, an experimental study is conducted to develop the design concept, covering aspects such as content, storyline, visual concept, and communication within the animation. This project resulted in a 2D animation titled "The Reflection on Lifestyle," consisting of three episodes. The animation was designed using the frame-by-frame anime-style technique. The "The Reflection on Lifestyle" animation received validation scores of 76% (Moderately Valid) from media experts and 84% (Valid) from content experts. The Target Audience Validation for children aged 12–15 years, analyzed using the Paired t-test, revealed that the animation led to an average score improvement of 27.34%. The respondents' average knowledge score after the intervention was 96.00, with a p-value of 0.0039.
