Abstract

Teori biofilik mengatakan bahwa manusia memiliki kecenderungan untuk terus terhubung dengan alam. Seiring bertambahnya penduduk dan lahan semakin sedikit, penerapan desain biofilik pada bangunan dianggap penting. Dalam dunia pendidikan terdapat salah satu bentuk alternatif lain pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan alam yaitu sekolah alam. Sekolah alam berusaha untuk melakukan pembelajaran langsung dengan alam, sedangkan sekolah pada umumnya yang melakukan pembelajaran di dalam kelas secara terus menerus. Hal tersebut membuat siswa dengan mudah untuk cepat bosan dan stres. Penerapan desain biofilk dapat membantu untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman untuk siswa. Namun, juga dapat mendukung kondisi kesehatan fisik dan mental. Desain biofilik terdiri dari 14 prinsip yang dapat diterapkan dalam desain. Salah satunya biomorphic forms and patterns, hal ini didasari karena umumnya bentuk sekolah yang ada saat ini cenderung monoton sehingga dapat mempengaruhi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Prinsip tersebut mengambil bentuk alami pada alam untuk diterapkan pada bentuk. Terdapat prinsip lain yang dapat membantu dalam pembelajaran dan meningkatkan konsentrasi siswa.

Biophilic theory states that humans haves tendency to always be connected to nature. As the population increases and land land becoma scarcer, the application of biophilic design in buildings is considered essential. In the field of education, there is another alternative form of nature based education known as nature schools. Nature schools try to facilitate direct learning with nature, unlike the school in general that conduct continuous learning in the classroom. This can often lead students becoming easily bored and stressed. The application of biophilic design can help create a comfortable learning environments for student, while also supporting physical and mental health. Biophilic design consist of 14 priciples that can be applied in design. One of this principles is biomorphic forms and pattern, this is based on the fact that current school design tends to be monotonous and pottentially affecting students learning process. This principle adopting batural forms from nature in to design. There is also other principles that can also help in learning and enhance students concentration.
