Abstract
Peran sistem informasi pada kehidupan modern saat ini sangat penting, terutama pada suatu instansi atau perusahaan untuk mengambil keputusan strategis. Sistem informasi harus terbebas dari anomali data. Anomali akan berdampak buruk pada konsistensi suatu informasi. Anomali dapat dihasilkan dari perancangan struktur database yang tidak baik. Hal ini terjadi di Kompartemen Sumber Daya Manusia yang terdapat anomali data pada sistem penawaran posisi. Oleh karena itu, perbaikan database harus dilakukan untuk memperbaiki konsistensi data sistem penawaran posisi. Selain perbaikan database, terdapat tantangan dalam migrasi database untuk menggantikan database lama dengan yang baru. Migrasi database harus ditangani dengan baik dan benar untuk menghindari risiko kegagalan sistem serta kehilangan data. Risiko-risiko tersebut berdampak buruk yang mengakibatkan terganggunya operasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode normalisasi untuk memverifikasi kualitas database sistem penawaran posisi. Normalisasi adalah suatu teknik yang berfokus pada pengelompokan beberapa atribut menjadi suatu entitas berdasarkan kriteria tertentu (normal forms) untuk mencapai suatu desain yang baik. Normalisasi dapat mencegah adanya anomali data, sehingga konsistensi data tetap terjaga. Penetapan metode strategi migrasi didasarkan atas hasil analisis dengan batasan toleransi downtime, kompleksitas skema serta volume database, dan biaya sumber daya. Penelitian ini melakukan pemodelan data yang menghasilkan model data konseptual (CDM), model data logis (LDM), dan model data fisik (PDM). Gap analisis model dilakukan pada model sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan. Gap analisis menghasilkan pembahasan terkait perbandingan model fisik, penyebab anomali dan performa sistem. Strategi migrasi database ditetapkan menggunakan metode Big Bang. Strategi migrasi database disusun menjadi 5 tahap, yaitu inisialisasi, pengembangan, pengujian, eksekusi, dan maintenance.

The role of information systems in modern life today is very important, especially in an agency or company to make strategic decisions. Information systems must be free from data anomalies. Anomalies will have a negative impact on information consistency. Anomalies can occur due to poor database structure design. This happened in the Human Resources Compartment, where data anomalies were found in the job offering system. Therefore, database repairs must be carried out to improve the consistency of the job offering system data. In addition to database repairs, there are challenges in database migration when replacing the old database with a new one. Database migration must be handled properly and correctly to avoid the risk of system failure and data loss. These risks have a negative impact that disrupts operations. This study uses the normalization method to verify the quality of the job offering system database. Normalization is a database design technique that focuses on grouping several attributes into an entity based on certain criteria to achieve a good design. Normalization can prevent data anomalies so that data consistency is maintained. The migration strategy method is determined based on the results of the analysis with constraints of downtime tolerance, schema complexity, database volume, and resource costs. This study conducted data modeling that produced a conceptual data model (CDM), a logical data model (LDM), and a physical data model (PDM). Model gap analysis was conducted on models before and after improvement. Gap analysis resulted in a discussion related to physical model comparison, causes of anomalies, and system performance. Strategi migrasi database ditetapkan menggunakan metode Big Bang. The database migration strategy is structured into five stages, namely initialization, development, testing, execution, and maintenance.
