Abstract

As a critical link in Supply Chain Management, construction companies are required to play an optimal role in delivering products from the principal to the next link in the supply chain. In the industrial value chain concept, contractors act as a "bridge" through which products or services pass to deliver their value to the customer. Based on their business operations, working capital management and financial management in construction companies are essential to maintaining and improving business effectiveness and efficiency.
To facilitate these needs, Bank X launched a program called Supply Chain Financing. This program is an integrative banking service package designed to support companies operating within a supply chain system. Through the Supply Chain Financing Program, Bank X, as a state-owned enterprise (SOE), offers several attractive services and facilities that construction companies can utilize to support their business operations. This research aims to provide an overview of Bank X's supply chain financing program for construction companies and to understand the business characteristics and financial flows of contractor companies. The research method employed is a descriptive-analytical method. The grand theory applied is financial management theory, particularly concerning working capital management and cash flow management. The findings reveal that implementing Supply Chain Financing (SCF) has a significant impact on improving the Cash to Cash Cycle (CCC) of construction companies. The program, through the scenarios of 15%, 35%, and 50% receivables acceleration, effectively reduced the CCC from its initial value of 113 days to 86 days, 49 days, and 22 days, respectively. This reduction reflects enhanced operational efficiency, particularly through the acceleration of receivables collection (Days Sales Outstanding/DSO). Furthermore, SCF implementation provides financial benefits in the form of significant additional liquidity, with annual net savings varying by scenario: Rp 259 million (15%), Rp 598 million (35%), and Rp 847 million (50%). This highlights that the Supply Chain Financing program offered by the banking industry, which includes working capital credit financing and cash management services, not only improves corporate liquidity but also supports the operational sustainability and business efficiency of construction companies.
