Abstract
Sungai Juana merupakan bagian dari Wilayah Sungai (WS) Jratunseluna yang pengelolaannya berada pada Pemerintah Pusat (Kementrian Pekerjaan Umum dan PerumahanRakyat, 2015). Sungai Juana memiliki luas ±1.274 km2 dengan Panjang sungai utamanya ±67.26 km. Sungai Juana memiliki potensi yang tinggi menjadi genangan karena kelandaian lahan dan sungai utamanya. Kondisi lahan yang sangat landai ini juga berpotensi tinggi terjadi sedimentasi, terutama pada hilir Sungai Juana. Sedimentasi yang terjadi pada Sungai Juana berdampak berkurangnya kapasitas pengaliran sehingga menyebabkan banjir yang menggenangi wilayah Kabupaten Kudus dan Pati (Marhendi, 2017). Metode perhitungan sedimen menggunakan Metode M.P.M dan mensimulasikan agradasi/degredasi pada sungai dengan menggunakan Software MIKE 21. Hasil analisis transpor sedimen menggunakan Metode M.P.M sebesar 135,131 m3/tahun. Hasil simulasi MIKE 21 pada ruas terpilih menunjukan bahwa belum tercapainya kondisi seimbang/stabil antara proses erosi dan sedimentasi, sehingga terjadi agradasi dan degradasi dasar sungai yang cukup signifikan.

The Juana River is part of the Jratunseluna River Basin (WS) whose management lies with the Central Government (Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, 2015). The Juana River has an area of ±1,274 km2 with the length of the main river being ±67.26 km. The Juana River has a high potential for flooding due to the slope of the land and the main river. This very sloping land condition also has a high potential for sedimentation, especially downstream of the Juana River. Sedimentation that occurs in the Juana River has the impact of reducing its drainage capacity, causing floods that inundate the Kudus and Pati Regencies (Marhendi, 2017). The sediment calculation method uses the M.P.M Method and simulates aggradation/degredation in rivers using MIKE 21 Software. The results of sediment transport analysis using the M.P.M Method are 135,131 m3/year. The results of the MIKE 21 simulation on the selected sections show that a balanced/stable condition between the erosion and sedimentation processes has not been achieved, resulting in significant aggradation and degradation of the river bed.
