Abstract

Refactoring Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pengawas Ujian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan pengawas ujian di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). Sistem ini dirancang untuk mempermudah pencatatan data pengawas, mengotomatiskan distribusi jadwal, serta menyediakan laporan administrasi yang lebih akurat dan terstruktur. Dalam kerja praktek ini, dilakukan perancangan ulang sistem menggunakan arsitektur union, yang membagi sistem ke dalam beberapa lapisan, yaitu core, infrastructure, presentation, dan provider. Proses refactoring mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan infrastruktur sistem, implementasi backend menggunakan Laravel, serta pengujian dan evaluasi. Hasil dari refactoring ini menunjukkan peningkatan dalam performa sistem, kemudahan penggunaan, serta fleksibilitas dalam pengelolaan pengawas UTBK. Diharapkan dengan adanya pengembangan ini, sistem dapat mendukung pelaksanaan UTBK di ITS secara lebih optimal, meminimalkan kesalahan administratif, serta meningkatkan koordinasi antara pengawas dan tim pendukung.

Refactoring the Exam Supervisor Management Information System aims to increase efficiency and effectiveness in managing exam supervisors at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). This system is designed to make it easier to record supervisory data, automate schedule distribution, and provide more accurate and structured administrative reports. In this practical work, a system redesign was carried out using a union architecture, which divides the system into several layers, namely core, infrastructure, presentation, and provider. The refactoring process includes requirements analysis, system infrastructure design, backend implementation using Laravel, as well as testing and evaluation. The results of this refactoring show improvements in system performance, ease of use, and flexibility in managing UTBK supervisors. It is hoped that with this development, the system can support the implementation of UTBK at ITS more optimally, minimize administrative errors, and improve coordination between supervisors and support teams.
