Abstract

Multiferoik adalah bahan yang secara bersamaan enunjuklcan sifat magnet dan listrilc. Bahan multiferoik BiFe03 telah dibuat dengan bahan baku dan metode yang berbeda dengan tujuan untulc mengetahui bahan baku dan metode terbaik yang dapat membuat BiFe03 fase tunggal. Bahan baku yang digunakan yaitu pasir besi, garam FeCh6H20 dan serbuk Fe murni. Metode yang digunalcan untulc membuat serbuk BiFe03 yaitu pencampuran basah dan kopresipitasi. Sampel yang didapatkan dikarakterisasi menggunalcan difraksi sinar-X VSM an Polarisasi meter. Pola XRD menunjulckan bahwa sampel yang dibuat dari serbuk Fe dengan metode pencampuran basah memiliki fase BiFe03 lebih banyak daripada yang lain. Pengukuran sifat magnet dan listrik pada suhu kamar menunjukkan sifat feromagnetik dan feroelektrik lemah.

Multife"oics are materials that simultaneously exhibit magnetic and electric properties. Multife"oic BiFe03 were prepared by different raw materials and methods in order to know the best raw materials and methods can make a single phase BiFe03. The raw materials were iron sand, FeCl3.6H20 and Fe powder. Wet mu1ng and coprecipitation 's method were used to prepare BiFe03 powder. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction, VSM and Radiant Polarization. The XRD pattern suggest that sample with Fe powder as raw material were prepared by wet mixing method have BiFe03 's phase more than another.
