Abstract
Forklift merupakan jenis kendaraan khusus yang digunakan untuk memindahkan dan menyusun barang dalam suatu susunan tertentu. Penggunaan forklift dalam industri bertujuan pada efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional. Kecepatan kerja dan efektivitas biaya menjadi salah satu pertimbangan banyak industri yang menggunakan forklift sebagai material handling dalam operasional perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan studi pendahuluan dengan melakukan pengamatan secara langsung, dimana dapat diketahui selama periode bulan Februari 2021 s.d. Maret 2022 sebanyak 29.69% unit forklift tipe elektrik dan LPG mendapatkan perawatan preventive tidak sesuai jadwal dan terjadi rata-rata tiga kerusakan dalam satu bulan pada masing-masing unit forklift, kemudian dalam satu bulan sebanyak 16.84% unit forklift mengalami breakdown unit lebih dari atau sama dengan satu hari. Upaya perawatan terhadap penggunaan forklift oleh operator belum diterapkan secara maksimal, dimana dapat diketahui bahwa upaya perawatan belum memenuhi standar Operation & Manual modul dan tidak adanya standar pengecekan harian oleh operator forklift secara menyeluruh. Penulis menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance dan melakukan analisis terhadap kerusakan komponen forklift untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah dalam menanggulangi komponen dengan frekuensi kerusakan dan tingkat kekritisan yang tinggi. Penulis melakukan pencarian penyebab kerusakan komponen dengan metode Root Cause Failure Analysis, pengkategorian komponen dengan metode Logic Tree Analysis, perhitungan statistik performa forklift dengan metode Total Minimum Downtime, dan penyusunan program pemeriksaan pengecekan harian oleh operator forklift guna memaksimalkan autonomous maintenance sebagai salah satu pilar Total Productive Maintenance. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh operator dengan bantuan form checklist dan instruksi pekerjaan yang sudah dibuat. Pada perhitungan nilai MTBF, terdapat kenaikan nilai pada unit forklift tipe elektrik sebesar 57.19 % atau 74.95 jam dan tipe LPG sebesar 86.96% atau 116.29 jam. Pada perhitungan nilai Availability, terdapat kenaikan nilai pada unit forklift tipe elektrik sebesar 27.77% atau penambahan 5 unit dengan Availability diatas 99% dan tipe LPG sebesar 23.07% atau penambahan 3 unit dengan Availability diatas 99%.

A forklift is a special vehicle used to move and arrange goods in a certain arrangement. The use of forklifts in the industry aims at operational effectiveness and efficiency. The speed of work and cost-effectiveness is one of the considerations for many industries that use forklifts for material handling in company operations. In this research, a preliminary study has been carried out by conducting direct observations, which can be seen during the period from February 2021 to d. In March 2022 as many as 29.69% of forklift units of electric and LPG types received preventive maintenance not according to schedule and an average of three breakdowns occurred in one month for each forklift unit, then in one month as many as 16.84% of forklift units experienced a unit breakdown of more than or equal to one day. Maintenance efforts on the use of forklifts by operators have not been implemented optimally, where it can be seen that maintenance efforts have not met the Operation & Manual module standards and there is no daily standard check by forklift operators as a whole. The author uses the Reliability Centered Maintenance method and analyzes the damage to forklift components to find out the steps in tackling components with a high frequency of damage and a high level of criticality. The author searches for the causes of component damage using the Root Cause Failure Analysis method, categorizes components using the Logic Tree Analysis method, calculates forklift performance statistics using the Total Minimum Downtime method, and prepares a daily checking inspection program by forklift operators in order to maximize autonomous maintenance as one of the pillars of Total Productive Maintenance. This activity is carried out by the operator with the help of a checklist form and work instructions that have been made. In calculating the MTBF value, there is an increase in the value of the electric type forklift unit by 57.19% or 74.95 hours and the LPG type by 86.96% or 116.29 hours. In calculating the Availability value, there is an increase in the value of the electric forklift unit by 27.77% or the addition of 5 units with Availability above 99% and the LPG type by 23.07% or the addition of 3 units with Availability above 99%.
