Abstract
This research addresses inefficiencies in sales call reporting at ORBIS SE Netherlands by developing a Microsoft-powered mobile application to automate processes and increase efficeincy. Using the Design-Oriented Thinking (DOT) framework, the research was structured around five sub-questions, employing a mixed-methods approach that included stakeholder interviews, workshops, and product analyses. The study identified key requirements such as real-time transcription, automated task creation, and mobile usability. A comparative analysis of existing solutions, including Dynamics 365 Sales Mobile and Custom Power Apps, highlighted the need for a tailored approach. Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and Azure AI, a proof of concept (PoC) was developed iteratively using Agile methodology, integrating Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and custom Copilot AI. The IST-SOLL analysis guided implementation planning, emphasizing structured training, phased rollouts, and seamless integration. The PoC demonstrated significant improvements in report accuracy and operational efficiency while establishing a scalable framework for future expansion. The findings underscore the value of user-centered design and Microsoft technologies in driving digital transformation at ORBIS SE NL
