Abstract
Sistem pembangkit mempunyai peranan penting dalam suatu kawasan industri. Dalam sistem pembangkit ini terdapat beberapa bagian yang dapat memicu terjadinya kebakaran. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sistem fire hydrant. Namun, dalam sistem instalasi fire hydrant ini tidak sesuai dengan standar NFPA/ SNI, sehingga penulis melakukan perancangan ulang instalasi fire hydrant pada sistem pembangkit. Proyek akhir ini berupa perancangan ulang instalasi fire hydrant dimana metode yang digunakan meliputi menentukan diameter pipa hydrant, peletakan posisi hydrant pillar dan siamese connection, merancang volume GWT, serta menganalisis pemilihan pompa fire hydrant yang sesuai dengan standar NFPA dan SNI. Untuk perhitungan head, NPSHA, daya pompa, dan rekomendasi pemilihan pompa dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software pipe flow expert v7.30 Pada perancangan ulang instalasi fire hydrant yang sesuai dengan standar NFPA/SNI didapatkan 12 hydrant pillar, volume GWT 456m3. Lalu didapatkan spesifikasi pompa dengan kapasitas, sebesar 3800 L/min, head efektif = 80,56 m, NPSHA = 5,9 m, dan daya motor sebesar 74,51 kWatt. .

The generating system has an important role in an industrial area. In this generating system there are several parts that can trigger a fire. Therefore, a fire hydrant system is needed. However, the fire hydrant installation system is not in accordance with the NFPA/SNI standard, so the author redesigned the fire hydrant installation in the generator system. This final project is in the form of redesigning a fire hydrant installation where the methods used include determining the diameter of the hydrant pipe, laying the position of the hydrant pillar and siamese connection, designing the GWT volume, and analyzing the selection of fire hydrant pumps in accordance with NFPA and SNI standards. For head calculations, NPSHA, pump power, and pump selection recommendations are carried out analytically and numerically using pipe flow expert software v7.30 In the redesign of the fire hydrant installation in accordance with the NFPA/SNI standard, 12 hydrant pillars were obtained, the GWT volume was 456m3. Then the pump specifications are obtained with a capacity of 3800 L/min, effective head = 80.56 m, NPSHA = 5.9 m, and motor power of 74.51 kWatt.
