Abstract
Proyek Cutter Suction Dredger direncanakan memiliki kapasitas 3000 m3/h dengan kedalaman pengerukan maksimal sebesar 15 m serta elevasi discharge 10 m diatas permukaan laut menggunakan floating pipeline system sepanjang 700 m. Untuk memindahkan sedimen hasil pengerukan ke tempat pembuangan digunakan pompa slurry. Dalam proyek ini bertujuan untuk memilih pompa slurry yang sesuai kebutuhan dan merancang impeller yang sesuai dengan standar API 610. Tahapan dalam proyek ini terbagi menjadi tiga, yakni: 1) penghitungan karakteristik fluida dan Head efektif instalasi yang dilakukan secara manual dan secara numerik dengan software pipeflow expert., 2) pemilihan pompa dilakukan dengan cara memplot hasil dari perhitungan kapasitas dan juga head efektif instalasi yang telah dilakukan kedalam kurva unjuk kerja pompa yang sudah tertera pada data sheet pompa dan 3) perancangan impeller dengan point by point method dimana dilakukan perhitungan terhadap beberapa variable meliputi kecepatan meridian, kecepatan relatif, sudut beta pada tiap titik pada sudu. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Fluida slurry memiliki karakteristik, yakni: Densitas (ρ) sebesar 1269 kg/m3, Specific Gravity (SG) sebesar 1,269, dan Viskositas Dinamis (μ) sebesar 0,0016252 kg/ms. Head efektif instalasi (Heff) untuk fluida air secara analitik didapat 58,215 m dan secara numerik menggunakan pipe flow expert didapat 58,216 m sehingga tingkat kesalahannya 0,0023 % berada pada batas yang diijinkan <2%. Sehingga dalam proyek CSD ini, pompa slurry yang digunakan adalah Shijiazhuang Nainater Slurry Pump Co., Ltd 450 WN. dengan rimpeller tipe moderate specific speed impeller, Diameter Inlet Sudu 0,631 m, Diameter Outlet Sudu 1,263 m, Sudut Kelengkungan Sudu Inlet 15,98o , Sudut Kelengkungan Sudu Oulet 25o, dan Jumlah Sudu 5.

The project of Cutter Suction Dredger is designed to have a capacity of 3000 m3/h and a maximum dredging depth of 15 m and a discharge elevation of 10 m above sea level using a 700 m floating pipeline system. To transfer the dredged sediment to the disposal site, a slurry pump is used. In this project the aims is to select the slurry pump according to the needs and design the impeller according to API 610 standard. The stages in this project are divided into three: 1) Calculating the fluids characteristics and effective Head of the installation manually and numerically using Pipe Flow Expert software. 2) Pump selection done by plotting the calculation result of the capacity and effective head of the installation which has worked according to pump performance curve listed in pump datasheet and 3) Designing impeller using point by point method where calculations are carried out on several variables including meridian velocity, relative velocity, beta angle at each point on the blade. The results showed the working slurry fluid has a characteristics, specifically: Density (ρ) of 1269 kg/m3, Specific Gravity (SG) of 1,269, and Dynamic Viscosity (μ) of 0,0016252 kg/ms. The Head effective installation (Heff) for working liquid of water analytically is 58.215 m and numerically, using a pipe flow expert it is obtained 58,216 m thus resulted error rate of 0,0023% within the allowable limit <2%.
