Abstract

Guna menunjang kontinuitas aliran daya pada sistem kelistrikan PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), yang merupakan anak usaha PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), bergerak di bidang produksi dan pemasaran pupuk dan petrokimia diperlukan adanya studi kestabilan. PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda memiliki 2 unit Pabrik Amoniak/Urea dengan kapasitas 1.140.000 ton urea per tahun Saat ini PIM memiliki 2-unit pembangkit listrik berbahan bakar gas bumi dengan total kapasitas desain sebesar 35 MW, yaitu Gas Turbine Generator GTG-1 dengan kapasitas 15 MW dan GTG-2 dengan kapasitas 20 MW. Namun kondisi saat ini GTG-1 memiliki daya mampu sebesar 10 MW dan GTG-2 sebesar 16 MW sehingga kapasitas daya total (aktual) sebesar 26 MW. Pembangkit GTG-1 dan GTG-2 ini juga dapat beroperasi secara paralel yang didukung dengan fasilitas Pelepasan Beban and sharing agar suplai listrik tetap terjaga sesuai dengan beban prioritas. Sehingga diperlukan adanya studi menegenai kestabilan transien.Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan rekomendasi pelepasan Beban metode status dan UFR untuk menjaga stabilitas sistem ketika terjadi outage pada generator dengan mempertimbangkan frekuensi sesuai dengan standar IEEE.C37 106 1987. Simulasi Hubung singkat telah dilakukan pada setiap level tegangan diantaranya tegangan 0.4 KV, 2.4 KV, 6.3 KV dan 13.8 KV. Hasil simulasi hubung singkat menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat mengisolasi gangguan melalui relay proteksi OCR sehingga sistem secara umum masih dapat beroperasi ketika terjadi gangguan. Hasil simulasi pada saat starting motor juga menunjukan sistem mengalami drop tegangan namun masih dalam batas normal ketika motor mengalami kondisi starting motor.

In order to support the continuity of power flow in the electricity system of PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), which is a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), engaged in the production and marketing of fertilizers and petrochemicals, a stability study is needed. PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda has 2 units of Ammonia/Urea Plant with a capacity of 1,140,000 tons of urea per year Currently, PIM has 2-unit natural gas-fired power plants with a total design capacity of 35 MW, namely Gas Turbine Generator GTG-1 with a capacity of 15 MW and GTG-2 with a capacity of 20 MW. However, the current condition of GTG-1 has a capable power of 10 MW and GTG-2 of 16 MW, so that the total power capacity (actual) is 26 MW. GTG-1 and GTG-2 plants can also operate in parallel, supported by load shedding and sharing facilities, so that the electricity supply is maintained by the priority load. In this study, Pelepasan Beban recommendations for the status and UFR methods have been carried out to maintain system stability when a generator outage occurs by considering frequency by IEEE.C37 106 1987 standards. Hubung singkatsimulations have been carried out at each Tegangan level including Tegangans 0.4 KV, 2.4 KV, 6.3 KV and 13.8 KV. The hubung singkatsimulation results show that the system can isolate the disturbance through the OCR protection relay so that the system in general can still operate when a disturbance occurs. Simulation results during motor starting also show that the system experiences a Tegangan drop but is still within normal limits when the motor experiences motor starting conditions.
