Abstract
Penggunaan bahan bakar merupakan salah satu komponen biaya terbesar dalam operasional kapal, sehingga pemantauan konsumsi bahan bakar secara real-time menjadi kebutuhan yang krusial bagi perusahaan pelayaran. PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola efisiensi bahan bakar akibat keterbatasan sistem pengawasan
manual yang tidak mampu mendeteksi anomali secara cepat dan akurat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pemantauan bahan bakar berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan menggunakan perangkat
KCT-1904 sebagai solusi digital dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional kapal.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan rekayasa sistem melalui tahapan perakitan hardware, konfigurasi software, pengumpulan data, analisis anomali, serta pembuatan laporan visualisasi. Sensor dan kabel dirakit dengan cermat agar terintegrasi secara optimal dengan sistem kapal. Pengaturan parameter dan antarmuka pengguna disesuaikan dalam perangkat lunak agar mempermudah pemantauan langsung oleh operator kapal. Data konsumsi bahan bakar dikumpulkan selama periode pelayaran, dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi pola pemakaian, serta digunakan dalam mendeteksi anomali seperti lonjakan
penggunaan bahan bakar yang tidak normal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemantauan KCT1904 mampu memberikan laporan yang akurat, mendeteksi anomali secara real-time, serta menginformasikan gangguan teknis yang dapat segera ditindaklanjuti. Dengan penerapan sistem ini, PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi bahan bakar, memperbaiki kinerja operasional, serta menekan biaya yang berkaitan dengan konsumsi bahan bakar kapal. Studi ini juga menghasilkan desain konsep sistem informasi pemantauan bahan bakar yang dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk mendukung transformasi digital dalam industri pelayaran nasional. Fuel consumption is one of the largest cost components in ship operations. PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari faces challenges in managing fuel efficiency due to the limitations of manual monitoring systems, which are unable to detect anomalies quickly and accurately. The absence of an integrated and digital-based fuel monitoring system leads to delays in identifying fuel waste and difficulties in making data-driven decisions. To design and implement a fuel monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the KCT-1904 device to improve efficiency, operational performance, and reduce the operational costs associated with ship fuel consumption. This study uses a systems engineering approach through stages such as hardware assembly, software configuration, data collection, anomaly analysis, and visual reporting. Sensors and cables were assembled to ensure optimal integration with the ship’s system. Software parameters and user interfaces were configured for real-time monitoring by ship operators. Fuel consumption data were collected over sailing periods, analyzed for usage patterns, and used to detect anomalies such as unexpected fuel spikes. The implementation of the KCT-1904 monitoring system successfully provides accurate
reports, detects anomalies in real-time, and identifies technical issues that can be addressed promptly. The study demonstrates that this system can help PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari enhance fuel efficiency, improve operational performance, and reduce fuel-related expenses. It also offers a conceptual design of an information system that can support digital transformation in the national shipping industry. Key words: fuel monitoring, internet of things, data mining
