Abstract
Kondisi persaingan industri semen saat ini sangat ketat karena terjadi excess production semen, yaitu kondisi di mana kapasitas produksi semen di dalam negeri lebih besar daripada permintaan semen. Laporan keuangan PT. XYZ yang merupakan salah satu perusahaan produsen semen menunjukkan penjualan semen yang cenderung stagnan, laba perusahaan yang turun dan biaya produksi yang naik. Kondisi ini membuat perusahaan harus melakukan penghematan dan efisiensi biaya produksi agar tetap kompetitif dan mampu bertahan. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan biaya produksi adalah dengan melakukan penjadwalan produksi yang efisien sehingga semua permintaan pelanggan dapat dipenuhi dengan total biaya produksi berupa variable cost dan set up cost serendah mungkin. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed integer linear programming sebagai metode pemecahan masalah penjadwalan produksi perusahaan. Model MILP dikembangkan dengan software open solver dengan pertimbangan tidak memerlukan tambahan biaya dan familiar digunakan oleh pihak-pihak terkait di perusahaan.Hasil validasi model MILP menunjukkan error < 5% sehingga model dapat dikatakan valid. Model MILP kemudian digunakan untuk melakukan optimasi penjadwalan di unit Raw Mill, Kiln dan Finish Mill. Hasil optimasi menunjukkan penurunan total biaya produksi sebesar Rp2.844.199.049 atau setara 1.34%. Hasil analisa sensivitas menunjukkan perubahan harga batubara dan listrik memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap biaya produksi semen sementara itu perubahan kapasitas inventory dan production rate terhadap biaya produksi hanya berpengaruh cukup signifikan pada area finish mill.

The current competitive condition of the cement industry is very tight because there is excess cement production, which is a condition where domestic cement production capacity is greater than cement demand. The financial report of PT. XYZ, which is one of the cement producing companies, shows that cement sales tend to stagnate, company profits are decreasing and production costs are increasing. This condition requires the company to make savings and efficiency in production costs in order to remain competitive and survive. One way to reduce production costs is to carry out efficient production scheduling so that all customer demand can be met with the lowest possible total production costs in the form of variable costs and set up costs. This study uses mixed integer linear programming as a method for solving the company's production scheduling problems. The MILP model was developed with open solver software with the consideration that it does not require additional costs and is familiar to be used by related parties in the company. The results of the MILP model validation show an error <5% so that the model can be said to be valid. The MILP model is then used to optimize scheduling in the Raw Mill, Kiln and Finish Mill units. The optimization results show a decrease in total production costs of Rp2,844,199,049 or equivalent to 1.34%. The results of the sensitivity analysis show that changes in coal and electricity prices have a significant impact on cement production costs, while changes in inventory capacity and production rate on production costs only have a significant effect on the finish mill area.
