Abstract

Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kota Surabaya dengan fokus pada audit energi singkat di kantor pemerintahan, khususnya kelurahan dan kecamatan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi penggunaan energi listrik dan memberikan rekomendasi teknis penghematan energi berdasarkan pengukuran langsung di lapangan. Parameter yang diamati mencakup suhu dan kelembapan ruangan, intensitas pencahayaan, suhu keluaran AC, serta estimasi konsumsi daya listrik. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan alat bantu seperti thermo-hygrometer, luxmeter, termometer inframerah, dan tang ampere. Data yang diperoleh dibandingkan dengan standar efisiensi energi bangunan seperti Permen ESDM No. 13 Tahun 2012 dan SNI 6197:2011. Hasil audit dianalisis berdasarkan intensitas konsumsi energi (IKE), efikasi pencahayaan, dan kenyamanan termal. Selain itu, hasil lapangan dibandingkan dengan standar ideal serta praktik konservasi energi yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian ESDM. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas ruangan belum memenuhi standar efisiensi energi. Hal ini terlihat dari suhu AC yang disetel di bawah 22 °C, penggunaan lampu konvensional yang boros energi, serta kurangnya pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi penyesuaian suhu AC ke kisaran 24–26 °C, penggantian lampu ke tipe LED, dan penerapan kebijakan pemadaman alat saat tidak digunakan. Kegiatan magang ini memberikan pengalaman praktis kepada mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan audit energi, pengambilan dan pengolahan data teknis, serta penyusunan laporan rekomendasi yang aplikatif. Program ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya efisiensi energi di sektor publik sebagai langkah strategis dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan.

This internship was conducted at the Environmental Agency (DLH) of Surabaya City, focusing on short-term energy audits in government buildings, especially sub-district and district offices. The main objective was to assess electrical energy use efficiency and provide technical recommendations for savings based on direct field measurements. Parameters measured included room temperature and humidity, light intensity, AC output temperature, and estimated electrical load. Measurements were performed using tools such as thermo-hygrometers, luxmeters, infrared thermometers, and clamp meters. The collected data were compared against national building energy standards including Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 13 of 2012 and SNI 6197:2011. Results were analyzed based on Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE), lighting efficacy, and thermal comfort standards. Field findings were further evaluated against energy conservation practices recommended by Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy. The audit revealed that most rooms did not meet energy efficiency standards. Common issues included AC settings below 22 °C, the use of conventional lighting, and underutilization of natural daylight. Recommendations included adjusting AC temperature to 24–26 °C, replacing lighting with LED technology, and applying shutdown procedures for unused equipment. This internship provided students with hands-on experience in the energy auditing process, from measurement and technical data analysis to preparing actionable efficiency recommendations. It also enhanced awareness of energy efficiency in the public sector as a strategic step toward sustainable development.
