Abstract
Permasalahan lubang oli yang buntu pada komponen mesin ditemukan dalam proses produksi sepeda motor. Kondisi ini menyebabkan aliran oli terhambat sehingga sistem pelumasan tidak berjalan dengan semestinya, yang pada akhirnya dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan mesin hingga motor tidak dapat berfungsi. Untuk menganalisis dan menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, digunakan pendekatan Six Sigma dengan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Tahap Define digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan utama, diikuti oleh Measure untuk mengumpulkan data jumlah kecacatan yang terjadi. Pada tahap Analyze, dilakukan penelusuran akar penyebab menggunakan diagram sebab-akibat dan analisis data historis. Tahap Improve menghasilkan usulan perbaikan berupa optimasi proses pengeboran serta penerapan inspeksi visual secara sistematis. Terakhir, tahap Control dilakukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan perbaikan melalui pengendalian kualitas yang konsisten. Hasil dari pendekatan ini menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan terhadap jumlah produk cacat serta peningkatan efisiensi dan keandalan proses produksi.

A clogged oil hole issue on engine components was discovered during the motorcycle production process. This condition hinders the flow of oil, causing the lubrication system to malfunction, which may ultimately lead to engine damage and vehicle failure. To analyze and resolve this issue, the Six Sigma approach was applied using the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). The Define phase was used to identify the main problem, followed by the Measure phase to collect data on defect occurrences. In the Analyze phase, root causes were explored using cause-and-effect diagrams and historical data analysis. The Improve phase proposed solutions such as optimizing the drilling process and implementing systematic visual inspections. Finally, the Control phase ensured the sustainability of improvements through consistent quality control. The results of this approach showed a significant reduction in defective products and an increase in production process efficiency and reliability.
