Abstract

Tanaman hidroponik seperti stroberi, sawi, pakcoy merupakan komoditas hortikultura bernilai ekonomi tinggi yang potensial untuk dikembangkan, terutama di daerah dataran tinggi. Namun, pertumbuhan tanaman tersebut di dataran rendah memerlukan perhatian khusus terhadap suhu, kelembapan, dan sistem penyiraman, agar dapat menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini fokus pada pengoptimalan suhu air keluaran berbasis TEC1-12706 dengan Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno untuk mendukung budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik. Melalui pemantauan suhu air yang tepat, diharapkan pertumbuhan tanaman hidroponik dapat berlangsung optimal pada kisaran suhu 22-18.5°C, sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil panen. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi mengenai alternatif sistem penyiraman yang ramah lingkungan dan efisien untuk dijadikan pengaplikasian sistem penyiraman tanaman-tanaman yang membutuhkan suhu air dibawah suhu ruang dapat tumbuh secara optimal meskipun dibudidayakan di wilayah dataran rendah.

Hydroponic crops such as strawberries, mustard greens, and pakcoy are high-value horticultural commodities with strong development potential, particularly in upland areas. However, cultivating these crops in lowland regions requires special attention to temperature, humidity, and irrigation systems in order to produce high-quality yields. This research focuses on optimizing water output temperature using a TEC1-12706 Thermoelectric Cooler controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller to support hydroponic cultivation. By properly monitoring water temperature, it is expected that hydroponic crops can grow optimally within the temperature range of 22°C to 18.5°C, thereby improving crop productivity. The results of this research are expected to provide insight into alternative irrigation systems that are both environmentally friendly and efficient, serving as a potential solution for maintaining sub-room temperature water conditions necessary for optimal crop growth in lowland environments.
