Abstract

Penumpukan sedimen di alur pelayaran pelabuhan dapat menyebabkan pendangkalan yang menghambat proses sandar kapal, sehingga diperlukan upaya pengerukan untuk menjaga kedalaman dan kelancaran kegiatan operasional di pelabuhan. Penelitian ini menganalisis laju sedimentasi sebelum dan sesudah pengerukan pada proyek East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) Phase 1A dan 1B di Lamongan Shorebase menggunakan pemodelan numerik dengan software Delft3D. Pemodelan dilakukan pada dua skenario, yaitu kondisi eksisting dan setelah pengerukan, dengan pengamatan pada tiga zona sepanjang alur pelayaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada kondisi eksisting, kecendurungan sedimentasi terjadi pada sekitar Zona C dan Zona D. Laju sedimentasi tertinggi yang terjadi di Zona C sebesar 220.48 m³/bulan (pendangkalan 0.10 cm/bulan), diikuti dengan Zona C sebesar 237.35 m³/bulan (pendangkalan 0.11 cm/bulan), dan Zona A sebesar 70.83 m³/bulan (pendangkalan 0.14 cm/bulan) serta Zona B sebesar 95.97 m³/bulan (pendangkalan 0.11 cm/bulan). Setelah pengerukan, laju sedimentasi tertinggi berpindah ke Zona A dan B, dimana pada Zona A sebesar 1832.38 m³/bulan, sedangkan Zona B menjadi 1431.82 m³/bulan, Zona C menjadi 250.32 m³/bulan, serta Zona D menjadi 258.01 m³/bulan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran perubahan distribusi dan besaran laju sedimentasi akibat pengerukan, yang dapat menjadi acuan dalam perencanaan dan pemeliharaan alur pelayaran pelabuhan.

Sediment accumulation in port shipping lanes can cause silting that hinders ship berthing, requiring dredging efforts to maintain depth and smooth operational activities in the port. This study analyzes sedimentation rates before and after dredging in the East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) Phase 1A and 1B project at Lamongan Shorebase using numerical modeling with Delft3D software. Modeling was conducted in two scenarios, namely existing conditions and after dredging, with observations in three zones along the shipping channel. The analysis results show that under existing conditions, sedimentation tends to occur around Zone C and Zone D. The highest sedimentation rate occurs in Zone C at 220.48 m³/month (siltation of 0.10 cm/month), followed by Zone C at 237. 35 m³/month (siltation 0.11 cm/month), Zone A at 70.83 m³/month (siltation 0.14 cm/month), and Zone B at 95.97 m³/month (siltation 0.11 cm/month). After dredging, the highest sedimentation rate shifted to Zones A and B, where Zone A reached 1832.38 m³/month, Zone B reached 1431.82 m³/month, Zone C reached 250.32 m³/month, and Zone D reached 258.01 m³/month. The results of this study provide an overview of changes in the distribution and magnitude of sedimentation rates due to dredging, which can serve as a reference for planning and maintaining port navigation channels.
