Abstract

Pelabuhan Patimban di Subang, Jawa Barat, merupakan Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN) yang dibangun untuk mengurangi kepadatan logistik di Jakarta dan melengkapi Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. Pembangunannya melibatkan pengerukan dan reklamasi seluas 542 hektar yang tentunya akan mengubah topografi dasar laut dan memengaruhi pola arus serta sedimentasi. Sedimentasi berpotensi mengganggu operasional pelabuhan dan keseimbangan lingkungan. Untuk meminimalkan dampaknya, penelitian ini menganalisis pola arus dan sedimentasi serta mengusulkan penerapan underwater sill (UWS) sebagai solusi efektif. Pemodelan pola arus dan laju sedimentasi disimulasikan menggunakan software Delft3D. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola arus dan laju sedimentasi di Pelabuhan Patimban pada kondisi eksisting serta setelah penerapan underwater sill dengan berbagai skenario pemodelan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa pada kondisi eksisting, pola arus bergerak dari arah Barat ke Timur saat pasang dan berbalik dari Timur ke Barat saat surut, dengan kecepatan arus rata-rata di area alur pelayaran sebesar 0,0438 m/s dan laju sedimentasi rata-rata sebesar 0,044 meter per tahun. Dari seluruh skenario yang dianalisis, skenario B yaitu UWS dengan variasi jarak antar struktur sebesar 1,25 km dinyatakan paling efektif dalam menekan laju sedimentasi di area alur pelayaran, dengan nilai laju sedimentasi sebesar 0,4334 meter per tahun.

Patimban Port, located in Subang, West Java, is a National Strategic Project (PSN) developed to reduce logistics congestion in Jakarta and complement the function of Tanjung Priok Port. Its construction involves dredging and reclamation covering an area of 542 hectares, which significantly alters the seabed topography and affects current patterns as well as sedimentation processes. Sedimentation poses a potential threat to port operations and environmental balance. To minimize these impacts, this study analyzes the current and sedimentation patterns and proposes the application of an underwater sill (UWS) as an effective mitigation measure. The flow and sedimentation patterns are simulated using Delft3D software. The objective of this study is to identify the current patterns and sedimentation rates at Patimban Port under existing conditions and after the implementation of various UWS scenarios. The simulation results show that, under existing conditions, the current flows from west to east during high tide and reverses from east to west during low tide, with an average current velocity of 0.0438 m/s and an average sedimentation rate of 0,044 meters per year. Among all the scenarios analyzed, Scenario B, which involves UWS structures with a spacing variation of 1,25 km, was found to be the most effective in reducing the sedimentation rate in the navigation channel area, with a sedimentation rate of 0,4334 meters per year.
