Abstract

Peningkatan produktivitas menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam menjaga daya saing industri manufaktur, termasuk industri sigaret yang mengandalkan kinerja mesin produksi. Perusahaan objek penelitian menggunakan framework Loss Analysis (LA) untuk menghitung dan mengeliminasi kerugian mesin melalui enam parameter, yaitu Safety, Quality, Process, Breakdown, Waste, dan Maintenance Effort. Namun, implementasi LA saat ini masih memiliki tiga kelemahan utama, yaitu hasil perhitungan dan analisis yang terlalu umum, regulasi pemilihan equipment kritis yang tidak optimal, serta aksesibilitas dan visibilitas data yang rendah. Penelitian ini mengusulkan tiga metode sebagai solusi. Pertama, penerapan metode Threshold Value dengan tiga pendekatan, yaitu Gaussian Threshold, Peaks Over Threshold (POT), dan Bipolar Threshold. Hasil perhitungan dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode Bipolar Threshold paling sesuai dengan kondisi LA perusahaan, dengan nilai threshold sebesar 1,70 untuk parameter index dan Rp81.450.829 untuk parameter cost. Kedua, pemilihan equipment kritis menggunakan Diagram Pareto yang berhasil mengidentifikasi 25 equipment kritis, dimana hal ini memberikan pengetahuan kepada perusahaan bahwa selisihnya sangat besar jika dibandingkan dengan kondisi awal yaitu 2 equipment pada semester 1. Penelitian ini menyarankan untuk meningkatkan utilisasi tenaga kerja sehingga dapat mengatasi 21,98% permasalahan berdasarkan Final Index dan 69,68% permasalahan berdasarkan Total Losses Cost. Ketiga, merancang Dashboard berbasis Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) untuk mengatasi keterbatasan tampilan excel, meningkatkan visibilitas data, serta mempermudah proses analisis dan transfer knowledge. Melalui ketiga pendekatan ini, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata untuk pengembangan sistem LA yang lebih efisien, strategis, dan berbasis data. Hasil yang diperoleh telah melalui proses verifikasi dan validasi serta dinyatakan sesuai untuk diimplementasikan di perusahaan, terutama untuk penerapan threshold dan dashboard berbasis OLAP.

Productivity improvement is one of the key factors in maintaining competitiveness in the manufacturing industry, including the cigarette industry which relies heavily on the performance of production machinery. The company studied in this research utilizes a Loss Analysis (LA) framework to calculate and eliminate machine losses through six parameters: Safety, Quality, Process, Breakdown, Waste, and Maintenance Effort. However, the current implementation of LA presents three main weaknesses: the calculation and analysis results are too general, the regulation for selecting critical equipment is not optimal, and data accessibility and visibility are limited. This study proposes three methods as solutions. First, the implementation of Threshold Value using three approaches: Gaussian Threshold, Peaks Over Threshold (POT), and Bipolar Threshold. The calculation and analysis results indicate that the Bipolar Threshold method is the most suitable for the company’s LA conditions, with threshold values of 1.70 for index parameters and Rp81,450,829 for cost parameters. Second, critical equipment selection is carried out using the Pareto Diagram, which successfully identifies 25 critical equipment, providing the company with insight into the large gap compared to the 2 equipment selected in the previous semester. This study recommends improving workforce utilization to address 21.98% of problems based on the Final Index and 69.68% based on Total Losses Cost. Third, a Dashboard based on Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) is developed to overcome the limitations of Excel displays, enhance data visibility, and facilitate analysis and knowledge transfer. Through these three approaches, this study provides a tangible contribution to the development of a more efficient, strategic, and data-driven LA system. The results have been verified and validated and are deemed appropriate for implementation within the company, particularly in the application of threshold values and the OLAP-based dashboard.
