Abstract

Unit Pusat Bahasa Global (UPBG) merupakan unit pendukung di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) yang memberikan layanan di bidang kebahasaan baik untuk para sivitas akademika, tenaga kependidikan dan masyarakat. Setiap pelaksanaan kegiatan pada UPBG ITS perlu diadakan presensi kehadiran sebagai arsip kegiatan bulanan. Selama ini proses administrasi presensi pada UPBG ITS masih berupa analog menggunakan kertas dan hal ini dinilai kurang efisien seiring dengan perkembangan layanan yang ada pada UPBG ITS. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan digitalisasi terhadap sistem presensi dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan mempermudah proses administrasi bagi tim UPBG ITS sehingga dapat terus memberikan layanan yang terbaik. Sistem presensi UPBG ITS dibuat menggunakan kerangka kerja Laravel dan memiliki dua fitur utama yaitu fitur presensi dan fitur rekapitulasi. Fitur presensi terdiri atas presensi kegiatan berupa kelas kursus dan presensi kegiatan tes kebahasaan. Sedangkan fitur rekapitulasi berfungsi untuk mendapatkan laporan rekapitulasi bulanan daftar kehadiran berdasarkan presensi yang sudah dilakukan dalam bentuk dokumen Excel.

The Global Language Center Unit (UPBG) is a supporting unit at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) that provides language services for academic community members, educational staff, and the general public. Every activity conducted at UPBG ITS requires attendance recording as part of the monthly activity archive. The attendance administration process at UPBG ITS has been analog-based using paper forms, which is considered inefficient given the development of services at UPBG ITS. Therefore, digitalization of the attendance system is necessary with the expectation of improving efficiency and facilitating the administration process for the UPBG ITS team so they can continue to provide the best services. The UPBG ITS attendance system was developed using the Laravel framework and features two main functions: attendance recording and report generation. The attendance recording feature consists of activity attendance for course classes and language proficiency test attendance. Meanwhile, the report generation feature functions to obtain monthly attendance recap reports based on recorded attendance in Excel document format.
