Abstract
Perubahan kawasan pantai yang dinamis dengan tempo yang singkat menyebabkan mudahnya pesisir pantai mengalami kerusakan. Peredam alami gelombang seperti terumbu karang buatan diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji transmisi dan refleksi unit terumbu karang buatan vertikal hexagonal dan mencari konfigurasi mana yang paling efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji numerik pada software dualsphysic dengan 2 variasi tinggi gelombang (H) 0.1 m dan 0.2 m dan 4 variasi periode gelombang (T) 1 s ; 1.5 s ; 2 s ; 2.5 s; serta 3 konfigurasi yang digunakan yaitu 7 (1 lapis), 7.3 (2 lapis), 7 3 1 ( 3 lapis) .Didapatkan dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan berbanding terbalik antara H/gT² dan KT dan berbanding lurus dengan KR, di mana penurunan kecuraman gelombang menyebabkan kenaikan nilai koefisien transmisi dan penurunan nilai koefisien refleksi. Konfigurasi Susunan 7.3.1 menunjukkan performa yang lebih baik dalam meredam gelombang dan memantulkan gelombang dengan hasil KT rata-rata 0.432 dibandingkan KT konfigurasi 7 dengan rata-rata 0.627 dan KT konfigurasi 7.3 dengan rata-rata 0.464. Sedangkan untuk KR, konfigurasi 7.3.1 rata-rata 0.545 memiliki nilai tertinggi dibanding dengan KR konfigurasi 7 dengan rata-rata 0.466 dan konfigurasi 7.3 dengan rata-rata 0.4631

The dynamic changes in coastal areas over short periods have made shorelines increasingly vulnerable to damage. To address this, artificial coral reefs are needed as natural wave dampers. This study aims to evaluate the transmission and reflection performance of vertical hexagonal artificial reef units and to determine the most effective configuration. The method used is numerical testing via DualSPHysics software, with two wave height variations (H = 0.1 m and 0.2 m) and four wave period variations (T = 1 s, 1.5 s, 2 s, and 2.5 s). Three configurations were tested: 7 (single layer), 7.3 (two layers), and 7.3.1 (three layers).The results show an inverse relationship between wave steepness (H/gT²) and the transmission coefficient (KT), and a direct relationship with the reflection coefficient (KR). A decrease in wave steepness leads to an increase in KT and a decrease in KR. Among the configurations, 7.3.1 demonstrated the best performance in both wave damping and reflection, with an average KT of 0.432, compared to 0.627 for configuration 7 and 0.464 for configuration 7.3. For the reflection coefficient, configuration 7.3.1 also had the highest average value of 0.545, compared to 0.466 for configuration 7 and 0.4631 for configuration 7.3.
