Abstract
Penelitian ini berfokus pada perbandingan analisis struktur bangunan rumah sederhana 2 lantai dengan baja cold form dan beton bertulang mengacu pada SNI 7971 2013 dan SNI 2847 2019. Analisis pushover dilakukan untuk meninijau kinerja bangunan terhadap beban lateral gempa berdasarkan SNI 1726 2019. Perbandingan analisis peforma bangunan dan rencana anggaran biaya antara struktur baja cold form dan beton bertulang dilakukan untuk membandingkan kinerja secara struktural dan effisiensi anggaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa semua elemen struktur, termasuk balok, kolom, dan sambungan, memenuhi kriteria keamanan dengan rasio beban ultimit terhadap kapasitas penampang di bawah 1. Struktur baja canai dingin terbukti lebih ekonomis, dengan total biaya mencapai Rp 156.231.659,- (seratus lima puluh enam juta dua ratus tiga puluh satu ribu enam ratus lima puluh sembilan rupiah), yang lebih hemat sekitar 27% dibandingkan beton bertulang. Meskipun beton bertulang menunjukkan kapasitas kekuatan yang lebih tinggi, struktur baja canai dingin memiliki daktilitas yang lebih baik, memungkinkan deformasi sebelum mencapai kegagalan. Analisis pushover menunjukkan bahwa struktur beton bertulang memiliki performa yang lebih baik dalam hal base shear, namun struktur baja canai dingin menunjukkan kerusakan yang lebih ringan dan tetap aman. Kesimpulannya, untuk aplikasi yang memerlukan fleksibilitas dan ketahanan terhadap gempa, struktur baja canai dingin dapat menjadi pilihan yang lebih baik, terutama untuk bangunan dua lantai dengan beban yang tidak terlalu berat. Pilihan antara kedua jenis struktur ini harus mempertimbangkan kebutuhan spesifik proyek, tujuan penggunaan, serta pertimbangan struktural dan anggaran yang tersedia.

This study focuses on the comparative analysis of the structural performance of a simple two-story residential building using cold-formed steel and reinforced concrete, referencing SNI 7971:2013 and SNI 2847:2019. A pushover analysis was conducted to evaluate the building's performance against lateral earthquake loads based on SNI 1726:2019. The comparison of structural performance and cost estimation between cold-formed steel and reinforced concrete structures was carried out to assess their structural efficiency and budget effectiveness. The analysis results indicate that all structural elements, including beams, columns, and connections, meet safety criteria with ultimate load-to-section capacity ratios below 1. The cold-formed steel structure proved to be more economical, with a total cost of Rp 156,231,659. (one hundred fifty six million two hundred thirty one thousand six hundred fifty nine rupiah), which is approximately 27% less than that of reinforced concrete. Although reinforced concrete demonstrates higher strength capacity, the cold-formed steel structure exhibits better ductility, allowing for deformation before failure occurs. The pushover analysis reveals that the reinforced concrete structure performs better in terms of base shear; however, the cold-formed steel structure shows lighter damage and remains safe. In conclusion, for applications requiring flexibility and earthquake resistance, cold-formed steel structures may be a better choice, especially for two-story buildings with moderate loads. The choice between these two types of structures should consider specific project needs, intended use, as well as structural and budgetary considerations.
