Abstract
Banjir merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang kerap melanda wilayah Indonesia dan berpotensi menimbulkan dampak signifikan, baik dalam bentuk kerugian materiil maupun korban jiwa. Salah satu faktor yang memperparah dampak tersebut adalah rendahnya tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terkait prosedur evakuasi yang tepat. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi simulasi berbasis Virtual Reality (VR) yang bertujuan sebagai media edukatif dalam memberikan panduan evakuasi saat terjadi bencana banjir. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang imersif dan interaktif melalui lingkungan virtual yang menyerupai kondisi nyata. Simulasi mencakup lokasi rumah guna memberikan pemahaman pengguna terhadap prosedur evakuasi dalam kehidupan kehidupan sehari-hari. Selama simulasi berlangsung, pengguna diarahkan untuk menjalankan tahapan persiapan dan pelaksanaan evakuasi secara berurutan. Dilengkapi dengan panduan audio-visual yang terintegrasi, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran secara efektif dan meningkatkan kesadaran serta kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana banjir.

Floods are among the most frequent natural disasters in Indonesia, often resulting in significant material losses and casualties. One contributing factor that exacerbates the impact of such disasters is the lack of public awareness and understanding regarding proper evacuation procedures. In response to this issue, this study developed a Virtual Reality (VR)-based simulation application designed as an educational tool to provide evacuation guidance during flood emergencies. The application offers an immersive and interactive learning experience through a virtual environment that closely resembles real-world conditions. The simulation focuses on residential settings to help users understand evacuation procedures within the context of daily life. Throughout the simulation, users are guided through the sequential stages of evacuation preparation and execution. Equipped with integrated audio-visual instructions, the application aims to facilitate effective learning while enhancing public awareness and preparedness in facing flood disasters.
