Abstract
Pengembangan sistem sirkulasi fluida pendingin pada kondensor untuk proses distilasi minyak atsiri bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kondensasi dan kualitas hasil minyak atsiri. Dalam penelitian ini, dirancang sebuah plant yang terdiri dari meja besi dua tingkat yang menampung berbagai komponen, termasuk tangki pemanas, kondensor, dan sistem kontrol temperatur. Sistem ini menggunakan kompresor, pompa, dan sensor temperatur RTD PT100 yang diintegrasikan dengan Arduino Mega2560 sebagai kontroler utama. Data temperatur yang dikirim oleh sensor digunakan untuk mengontrol relay yang mengaktifkan kompresor, menjaga temperatur optimal pada kondensor. Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan dan kontrol otomatis, sehingga proses kondensasi lebih efisien dan produk minyak atsiri yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan teknologi destilasi minyak atsiri yang lebih efektif dan ramah lingkungan.

The development of a cooling fluid circulation system in the condenser for the essential oil distillation process aims to improve condensation efficiency and the quality of essential oil produced. In this research, a plant was designed consisting of a two-level iron table that accommodates various components, including a heating tank, condenser, and temperature control system. This system utilizes a compressor, pump, and RTD PT100 temperature sensor integrated with an Arduino Mega2560 as the main controller. The temperature data sent by the sensor is used to control a relay that activates the compressor, maintaining an optimal temperature in the condenser. This system enables automated monitoring and control, making the condensation process more efficient and producing higher-quality essential oils. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective and environmentally friendly essential oil distillation technology.
