Abstract

Water level monitoring is generally still performed manually. To improve the effectiveness of monitoring, a water level monitoring system was designed using an aquarium as a simulator. This simulator represents three scenario conditions: normal, alert, and danger. The system utilizes an ultrasonic sensor to measure water height, a microcontroller for data processing, and a wireless communication module to transmit data to a central server. The collected data is displayed locally to facilitate user access. Based on testing, the system demonstrated an accuracy rate of 96.43% with an average data transmission delay of only 0.05 to 0.07 seconds. The implementation of this system offers an effective automatic monitoring solution, reduces the need for manual observation, and supports flood risk mitigation efforts through real-time water level updates.
