Abstract

meningkatkan waktu kerja efektif teknisi (Wrench Time).

The oil and gas industry plays a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, where operational efficiency and Maintenance of production facilities are key to ensuring smooth production processes. In recent years, this sector has faced increasingly complex challenges, including the need to reduce costs, enhance Safety, and comply with stringent environmental regulations. To address these challenges, the application of Agile methods in the management of production
facility Maintenance has become increasingly relevant. This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing Agile methods on Maintenance efficiency at XYZ Company, a firm operating in the oil and gas sector. Using a quantitative
approach, this research compares Maintenance performance before and after the implementation of Agile methods, focusing on four main variables: Critical Work (CW) Overdue, Schedule Attainment, Maintenance Cost, and Wrench Time. The data used includes information from January 2020 to December
2024, and the analysis is conducted using Paired t-tests, as well as Cost Change Analysis and Productivity Ratio. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Agile Method significantly reduces the number of overdue Critical Work Orders, improves Schedule Attainment, and increases technicians Wrench Time. The application of the Agile Method also shows a reduction in Maintenance Costs, with a cost savings ratio of 7,3%. The productivity ratio further demonstrates an 26% increase in effective working
time. This study is expected to provide valuable insights for management in adopting a more adaptive and efficient approach, and to serve as a reference for broader implementation of the Agile Method in Indonesia’s oil and gas industry.
