Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perbandingan antara metode Single Exponential Smoothing dan Double Exponential Smoothing dalam mengestimasi keuntungan bersih tahunan PT PLN Indonesia Power untuk periode tahun 2024 hingga 2031. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa metode Double Exponential Smoothing memberikan hasil estimasi yang lebih akurat, ditunjukkan oleh nilai Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) yang lebih rendah, yaitu sebesar 28,7244%, dibandingkan dengan metode Single Exponential Smoothing yang memiliki MAPE sebesar 381%. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data keuntungan bersih tahunan PT PLN Indonesia Power dari tahun 2003 hingga 2023, yang kemudian digunakan sebagai dasar untuk membangkitkan estimasi data keuntungan bersih periode 2024 hingga 2031. Hasil peramalan menunjukkan bahwa estimasi keuntungan bersih perusahaan berada pada kisaran Rp11.115.088 pada tahun 2024 hingga Rp14.007.306 pada tahun 2031.

This study compares the Single Exponential Smoothing and Double Exponential Smoothing methods in forecasting the annual net profit of PT PLN Indonesia Power for the period 2024 to 2031. The results show that the Double Exponential Smoothing method produces more accurate forecasts, as indicated by a lower Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 28.7244%, compared to the Single Exponential Smoothing method which resulted in a MAPE of 381%. The data used in this study consists of annual net profit data from 2003 to 2023, which served as the basis for generating forecasts for the period 2024 to 2031. The forecast results indicate that the estimated net profit of PT PLN Indonesia Power ranges from Rp11,115,088 in 2024 to Rp14,007,306 in 2031.
