Abstract
Persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompleks menuntut PT XYZ selaku perusahaan survey, inspeksi, dan sertifikasi untuk menyusun strategi yang lebih adaptif, terutama pada jasa sertifikasi peralatan migas. Strategi yang selama ini diterapkan masih bersifat umum dan belum sepenuhnya menjawab tantangan terkini. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi alternatif guna menjaga performa perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga tahap: (1) tahap masukan, yaitu identifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal melalui wawancara dan kuesioner; (2) tahap pencocokan, yaitu menggunakan matriks SWOT dan matriks Internal-External (IE) untuk mengidentifikasi posisi strategis dan alternatif strategi; dan (3) tahap keputusan, yaitu pemilihan strategi terbaik dengan metode Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Hasil penelitian merumuskan strategi utama berdasarkan nilai STAS (Sum Total Attractiveness Scores) tertinggi. Hasil analisis IE menunjukkan perusahaan berada pada kuadran V (“hold and maintain”), yang mencerminkan kondisi stabil dengan IFE dan EFE pada tingkat sedang. Strategi yang terpilih adalah dengan memodifikasi layanan jasa untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah melalui pengembangan dan pengkayaan sesuai tren dan kebutuhan guna mempertahankan posisi di pasar, meningkatkan daya saing, dan menjamin keberlanjutan usaha.

The increasing complexity of business competition requires PT XYZ, a company engaged in survey, inspection, and certification services, to formulate more adaptive strategies, particularly in oil and gas equipment certification. The strategies implemented thus far remain general and have not fully addressed current challenges. This study aims to formulate alternative strategies to maintain the company's performance. The research method consists of three stages: (1) the input stage, which involves identifying internal and external factors through interviews and questionnaires; (2) the matching stage, which utilizes SWOT and Internal-External (IE) matrices to determine strategic position and potential alternatives; and (3) the decision stage, which selects the most appropriate strategy using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The resulting strategy is based on the highest Sum Total Attractiveness Score (STAS). The IE matrix analysis places the company in quadrant V (“hold and maintain”), reflecting a stable condition with moderate internal and external factors. The selected strategy involves modifying service offerings to enhance value through development and enrichment aligned with industry trends and client needs, in order to maintain market position, improve competitiveness, and ensure business sustainability.
