Abstract

Fixed jacket platform umum digunakan saat kegiatan eksploitasi minyak dan gas pada perairan Indonesia. Korosi yang terjadi pada bangunan laut sering terjadi terutama pada bagian splash zone. Korosi tersebut dapat menyebabkan penipisan wall thickness yang dapat mengurangi umur struktur. Pada Tugas Akhir ini, penulis akan menganalisis umur kelelahan jacket platform yang mengalami ageing corrosion dengan menggunakan metode cumulative damage. Analisis awal dilakukan dengan memprediksi laju korosi berdasarkan data inspeksi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan laju korosi 0,2905 mm/tahun. Kemudian penulis akan melakukan analisis fatigue life dengan metode cumulative damage dengan mempertimbangkan korosi yang terjadi. Pada struktur yang mengalami ageing corrosion didapatkan umur kelelahan mengalami penurunan menjadi 11 tahun. Pada analisis keandalan sistem jacket menggunakan metode Monte Carlo dengan moda kegagalan yaitu umur kelelahan dikurangi umur minimum dengan variabel acak applied stress. Keandalan sambungan jacket pada splash zone sebesar 78.9010%. Dari hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa umur kelelahan mengalami penurunan karena adanya korosi pada struktur jacket.

Fixed jacket platforms are commonly used during oil and gas exploitation activities in Indonesian waters. Corrosion that occurs in marine buildings often occurs especially in the splash zone. Corrosion can cause thinning of the wall thickness which can reduce the life of the structure. In this Final Project, the author will analyze the fatigue life of the jacket platform that is experiencing ageing corrosion by using the cumulative damage method. The initial analysis was conducted by predicting the corrosion rate based on inspection data. The analysis results show a corrosion rate of 0.2905 mm/year. Then the author will analyze the fatigue life with the cumulative damage method by considering the corrosion that occurs. In structures that experience ageing corrosion obtained fatigue life has decreased to 11 years. In the reliability analysis of the jacket system using the Monte Carlo method with the failure mode, namely fatigue life minus minimum life with random variables applied stress. The reliability of the jacket joint on splash zone is 78.9010%. From the results of the analysis, it shows that the fatigue life has decreased due to corrosion in the jacket structure.
