Abstract

North Lombok Regency, a region with high tourism potential in West Nusa Tenggara Province, faces significant challenges in addressing geohazard risks due to its geographical location in an active fault zone and its hilly terrain, which is prone to earthquakes, landslides, and floods. The development of the tourism sector has increased the need for safe and disaster-resilient healthcare facilities. This study employs a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach combined with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to analyze geohazard risks to healthcare facilities in North Lombok, considering parameters such as landslide susceptibility, flood susceptibility, and earthquake susceptibility. The analysis results show that landslide vulnerability is dominated by the moderate category, with slope parameters having the highest weight (42%), while flood vulnerability is dominated by moderate vulnerability levels and is most influenced by distance from rivers with a weight of 40%, and earthquake vulnerability is dominated by earthquake magnitude and depth, with most areas falling into the high vulnerability category. The combined risk levels of landslides, floods, and earthquakes indicate that earthquakes are the most influential parameter with the highest weight of 65%, while floods and landslides have weights of 18% and 17%. An analysis of the risk map for health facility locations found that most facilities, including community health centers and clinics, are in moderate to high risk zones, with the regional general hospital being the only hospital in the moderate risk zone. These findings provide a basis for more effective disaster mitigation planning, including infrastructure strengthening and enhanced emergency response capacity to ensure the continuity of health services in disaster-prone areas.
