Abstract
Penurunan kualitas tanah di Desa Gunungrejo, Kecamatan Sudimoro, Kabupaten Pacitan, menjadi kendala utama dalam sektor pertanian akibat erosi, penggunaan pupuk kimia berlebihan, serta minimnya pengelolaan tanah yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu alternatif solusi adalah pemanfaatan limbah industri Fly Ash dan Bottom Ash (FABA), yang mengandung mineral alkali dan unsur mikro penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendapat material yang dapat digunakan sebagai penstabil tanah pertanian. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan media tanam berupa campuran tanah dan FABA dalam beberapa komposisi (25:75, 50:50, 75:25, dan 100:0). Tanaman uji yang digunakan adalah daun bawang (Allium fistulosum) dan sereh (Cymbopogon citratus). Parameter yang diamati meliputi pH tanah, suhu, CNPK, keberadaan mikrorganisme, serta laju pertumbuhan tanaman berdasarkan tinggi tanaman. Data dikumpulkan setiap minggu dan dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat efektivitas FABA terhadap kondisi media tanam dan pertumbuhan tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan FABA sebagai stabilisator tidak memberikan banyak pengaruh terhadap media tanam, terutama pada ketersediaan unsur hara. Hal ini dikarenakan sifat alkalis FABA yang dapat meningkatkan pH tanah, sehingga pH yang terlalu bas aini menyebabkan menurunnya ketersediaan unsur hara dan terganggunya keberadaan mikroorganisme. Sehingga agar fungsi FABA dapat digunakan secara optimal, perlu ditambahkan bahan organik lain agar fungsi nya menjadi seimbang.

The decline in soil quality in Gunungrejo Village, Sudimoro District, Pacitan Regency, is a major obstacle in the agricultural sector due to erosion, excessive use of chemical fertilizers, and minimal sustainable land management. One alternative solution is the utilization of industrial waste Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA), which contains alkaline minerals and essential microelements. This research aims to obtain materials that can be used as agricultural soil stabilizers. The study was conducted experimentally using planting media composed of soil and FABA mixtures in various ratios (25:75, 50:50, 75:25, and 100:0). The test plants used were leek (Allium fistulosum) and lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus). Observed parameters included soil pH, temperature, CNPK content, presence of microorganisms, and plant growth rate based on plant height. Data were collected weekly and analyzed descriptively to assess the effectiveness of FABA on planting media conditions and plant growth. The results showed that the addition of FABA as a stabilizing agent had little effect on the planting media, particularly in terms of nutrient availability. This is due to the alkaline nature of FABA, which can raise soil pH to a level that reduces nutrient availability and disrupts microbial activity. Therefore, to optimize the function of FABA, it is necessary to combine it with other organic materials to achieve a balanced effect.
