Abstract

Offshore platform inspection projects require efficient time and cost planning to ensure smooth execution and structural integrity. In this final project research, scheduling analysis was conducted using the Critical Path Method (CPM) to identify critical path activities in the inspection project carried out by PT. XYZ for PT. ABC. Subsequently, the Time-Cost Trade-Off (TCTO) method was applied to determine which activities could be accelerated to reduce the overall project duration. The analysis results show that adding inspector teams significantly affected the acceleration of activities along the critical path. Among several inspector team addition scenarios tested, the most optimal acceleration option resulted in an additional cost of IDR 2,123,958,337 with the addition of two inspector teams, shortening the project duration to 112 days. This acceleration was implemented to avoid extreme weather conditions expected in September.
