Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam industri konstruksi telah mendorong penggunaan Building Information Modeling (BIM) sebagai pendekatan kolaboratif dalam perencanaan bangunan, termasuk dalam bidang struktur. Pada implementasinya, salah satu tantangan utamanya adalah interoperabilitas antar perangkat lunak, khususnya dalam transfer data antara perangkat lunak BIM dan perangkat lunak analisis struktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan membandingkan beberapa metode interoperabilitas BIM, yaitu interoperabilitas antara Revit 2025 dan SAP2000 V24 menggunakan CSIxRevit dan Speckle, serta antara Revit 2025 dan Robot Structural Analysis Professional (RSAP) 2025 menggunakan RSAP Direct-Link. Studi kasus yang digunakan berupa perencanaan struktur gedung beton bertulang 12 lantai dengan sistem ganda SRPMK dan SDSK di ITS, Surabaya yang direncanakan sesuai standar yang berlaku di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan secara dua tahap yaitu, proses percobaan untuk mendalami fitur dan konsistensi perangkat lunak analisis struktur, serta implementasi penuh pada studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk pertukaran data ke SAP2000, metode CSIxRevit memiliki kinerja pertukaran data yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan Speckle yang memiliki beberapa kekurangan dalam pertukaran datanya. Speckle yang berbasis cloud memiliki kelebihan dalam penyimpanan dan fleksibilitas transfer data, tetapi transfer data hanya bisa dilaukan satu arah (tidak bi-directional). Metode RSAP Direct-Link memiliki kinerja yang paling baik dalam pertukaran data dibanding kedua metode lainnya karena terintegrasi langsung dengan RSAP. Namun, hasil analisis strukturnya memiliki beda yang lebih besar dibanding kedua metode lainnya dikarenakan perbedaan perangkat lunak analisis struktur yang digunakan. Perbedaan teori balok dan slab, engine solver, serta algoritma mesh yang berbeda menjadi penyebab hal tersebut. Selain membandingkan ketiga metode interoperabilitas, penelitian ini juga mengkaji implementasi BIM berupa pemodelan serta pemanfaatannya dalam pengeluaran gambar kerja berbasis model tiga dimensi.

The digital transformation within the construction industry has accelerated the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a collaborative approach in building planning, particularly in structural engineering. One of the key challenges in BIM implementation is software interoperability, especially in the data exchange between BIM platforms and structural analysis software. This research aims to evaluate and compare several BIM interoperability methods, specifically the interoperability between Revit 2025 and SAP2000 V24 using CSIxRevit and Speckle, as well as between Revit 2025 and Robot Structural Analysis Professional (RSAP) 2025 using RSAP Direct-Link. The case study involves the structural planning of a 12-story reinforced concrete building with a dual system of Special Reinforced Concrete Moment Resisting Frames (SRPMK) and Special Reinforced Concrete Shear Walls (SDSK) at ITS, Surabaya, designed according to prevailing Indonesian standards. The research was conducted in two stages: trial process to deepen the understanding of software features and consistency of structural analysis software, and full implementation on the case study. The results indicate that for data exchange to SAP2000, the CSIxRevit method offers better data exchange performance compared to Speckle, which has several shortcomings in its data transfer. However, cloud-based Speckle provides advantages in data storage and transfer flexibility, but data transfer can only be done one-way (not bi-directional). The RSAP Direct-Link method shows the best performance in data exchange compared to the other two methods due to its Direct-Link with RSAP. Nevertheless, its structural analysis results exhibit a larger difference compared to the other methods, attributed to the distinct structural analysis software used. This discrepancy is caused by variations in beam and slab theories, solver engines, and meshing algorithms. In addition to comparing interoperability methods, this study also explores BIM implementation in modeling and the utilization of 3D models for generating construction drawings.
