Abstract
Bendungan Sutami di Kabupaten Malang merupakan infrastruktur vital yang berperan dalam penyediaan air baku, PLTA, irigasi dan pengendalian banjir. Namun, bendungan ini menghadapi tantangan serius berupa retakan pada puncaknya, yang menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap stabilitas struktur. Metode geofisika yang non-destruktif, yaitu Ground Penetrating Radar digunakan untuk mendeteksi dan mengevaluasi kondisi bawah permukaan area bendungan seperti retakan. Data GPR diproses menggunakan software EKKO Project untuk menghasilkan informasi tentang letak, kedalaman, dan pola retakan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi penting dalam evaluasi kondisi struktur Bendungan Sutami serta mendukung langkah mitigasi untuk menjaga keamanan dan kelayakan operasionalnya. Retakan terdeteksi sebagai anomali diskontinu dengan pola refleksi yang terganggu, terletak pada posisi 3,3 gingga 3,7 meter dengan kedalaman sekitar 1 meter, dan meskipun posisi serta kedalaman bervariasi antar lintasan, konsistensi pola anomali menunjukkan sifat retakan yang terus menerus dan memanjang. Selain retakan permukaan, radargram Line Y6 dan Y8 pada Grid 1 menunjukkan adanya retakan dalam pada kedalaman 1-1,5 meter yang ditandai oleh reflektor terputus dan pola gelombang tak beraturan, mengindikasikan potensi kerusakan berlapis yang dapat melemahkan struktur bawah permukaan secara progresif meskipun tidak tampak secara visual di permukaan.

Sutami Dam in Malang Regency is a vital infrastructure that plays a role in the provision of raw water, hydroelectricity, irrigation and flood control. However, the dam faces a serious challenge in the form of cracks at its peak, which raises concerns about the stability of the structure. A non-destructive geophysical method, namely Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), is used to detect and evaluate subsurface conditions of dam areas, such as cracks. GPR data is processed using EKKO Project software to generate information about the location, depth, and pattern of cracks. The results of this study are expected to contribute importantly in evaluating the condition of the structure of the Sutam Dam and support mitigation measures to maintain its safety and operational feasibility. The crack is detected as a discontinuous anomaly with a disrupted reflection pattern, located at positions 3.3 to 3.7 meters with a depth of approximately 1 meter, and despite variations in position and depth across different scan lines, the consistent anomaly pattern indicates a continuous and elongated crack. Besides surface cracks, the radargrams of Line Y6 and Y8 in Grid 1 indicate the presence of deep cracks at a depth of 1-1.5 meters, marked by disrupted reflectors and irregular wave patterns, suggesting the potential for layered damage that could progressively weaken the subsurface structure even though it is not visually apparent on the surface.
