Abstract

This research aims to optimize the integration of renewable energy generation in Indonesia through a techno-economic analysis that considers the concept of Economic Dispatch. With the increasing demand for energy and Indonesia's commitment to reducing carbon emissions, the utilization of renewable energy sources has become crucial. This study employs dynamic simulation to analyze various scenarios of renewable energy integration within the national energy system. The methodology applied includes the collection of operational data, cost analysis, and performance evaluation of the system in the context of Economic Dispatch. The results of this research are expected to provide in-depth insights into the efficiency and sustainability of renewable energy systems, as well as recommendations for policymakers in formulating more effective renewable energy development strategies in Indonesia. Thus, this study contributes to the efforts of sustainable energy transition and the reduction of dependence on fossil energy sources.
