Abstract
Pembangunan Jalan Tol Rengat–Pekanbaru pada STA 178+300 hingga STA 178+804 menghadapi tantangan besar akibat kondisi tanah lunak dengan nilai SPT yang rendah, sehingga desain eksisting menggunakan struktur pile slab. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan material timbunan tanah sebagai alternatif pengganti konstruksi pile slab, dengan menerapkan metode perbaikan dan perkuatan tanah agar memenuhi persyaratan stabilitas dan daya dukung. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan dua alternatif utama, yaitu timbunan tanah tanpa replacement soil (diperkuat dengan micropile) dan timbunan tanah dengan lapisan replacement soil setebal 1 meter (diperkuat dengan geotextile). Hasil perhitungan pada Bab V menunjukkan bahwa timbunan tanpa replacement soil menghasilkan penurunan yang cukup besar dan memerlukan pemasangan micropile untuk mencapai stabilitas lereng dan daya dukung yang memadai, dengan total biaya terbesar, yaitu sebesar Rp 55.657.485.000,00 Sementara itu, penggunaan replacement soil secara signifikan mampu mengurangi penurunan dan mempercepat waktu konsolidasi. Pada alternatif ini, stabilitas lereng dicapai dengan pemasangan bervariasi 12 lapis hingga 21 lapis geotextile dengan total panjang 1924 meter, dan total biaya sebesar Rp 13.882.035.000,00. Metode pile slab masih menjadi solusi paling stabil secara teknis, dengan total biaya yaitu Rp 14.128.575.800,00. Berdasarkan perbandingan teknis dan ekonomi, metode timbunan tanah dengan replacement soil dan perkuatan geotextile merupakan solusi paling efisien dan layak diterapkan di lokasi studi, karena memenuhi persyaratan teknis serta memberikan efisiensi biaya yang signifikan dibandingkan metode eksisting maupun alternatif lainnya.

The construction of the Rengat–Pekanbaru Toll Road at STA 178+300 to STA 178+804 faces significant challenges due to soft soil conditions with low SPT values, leading to the use of pile slab structures in the existing design. This final project aims to evaluate the use of embankment materials as an alternative to pile slab construction by implementing soil improvement and reinforcement methods to meet stability and bearing capacity requirements. The analysis compares two main alternatives: embankments without replacement soil (reinforced with micropiles) and embankments with a 1-meter-thick replacement soil layer (reinforced with geotextile). Calculations in Chapter V show that embankments without replacement soil result in considerable settlements and require micropile installation to achieve adequate slope stability and bearing capacity, with the highest total cost of Rp 55,657,485,000.00. Meanwhile, the use of replacement soil significantly reduces settlement and accelerates consolidation time. In this alternative, slope stability is achieved by installing 12 to 21 layers of geotextile with a total length of 1,924 meters, and a total cost of Rp 13,882,035,000.00. The pile slab method remains the most stable technical solution, with a total cost of Rp 14,128,575,800.00. Based on technical and economic comparisons, the embankment method using replacement soil and geotextile reinforcement is the most efficient and feasible solution for the study location, as it meets technical requirements and provides significant cost efficiency compared to the existing and other alternative methods.
