Abstract

Research area is located in Pronojiwo Subdistrict, Lumajang Regency, which is physiographically situated in the Sunda Magmatic Arc, an area with high potential for metal mineralization. This study aims to identify and characterize gold (Au) and copper (Cu) mineralization prospect zones using the integration of magnetic data and Induced Polarization (IP). Primary data consisting of 410 magnetic measurement points and secondary data comprising four IP lines with resistivity and chargeability data, as well as regional geological data, were used for validation and interpretation of mineralization zones through 2D inversion modeling. The processing results show the distribution of magnetic anomalies with values ranging from 0.4 to 8.1 nT/m on the analytic signal map and -325.5 to 577.3 nT on the residual magnetic anomaly map. The integration of magnetic and IP data successfully identified two prospective zones: Zone A as a potassic alteration zone with high chargeability, medium resistivity, and high magnetic, indicating a core zone of a porphyry deposit system with significant potential for metal sulfide mineralization and the presence of magnetic minerals such as magnetite; and Zone B as a phyllic alteration zone with high chargeability, high resistivity, and low magnetic, indicating a medium alteration zone with scattered sulfide mineralization. Zone A is the primary exploration target as it represents the core zone of the porphyry deposit system with potential for Cu-Au mineral accumulations, while Zone B remains of interest for further review as part of the same mineralization system complex. The integration of magnetic and IP methods is effective for delineating alteration and mineralization zones and supports advanced exploration
