Abstract
PT. GREEN FIELD, yang berlokasi di Ngajum, Kabupaten Malang, menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pembangunan warehouse baru untuk mendukung pertumbuhan operasionalnya. Dengan desain rak bertingkat yang mampu menampung beban hingga 2.600 kg per tingkat, stabilitas struktur menjadi isu utama karena kondisi tanah asli yang kurang stabil. Data tanah menunjukkan bahwa lapisan tanah keras baru ditemukan pada kedalaman 10-12 meter, sehingga pondasi dangkal eksisting yang direncanakan pada kedalaman 2 meter dan plat beton eksisting perlu dievaluasi. Tugas akhir ini mengkaji kelayakan kondisi eksisting dan mengusulkan alternatif pondasi sumuran untuk pondasi gudang serta pondasi raft dan sistem perkerasan lantai dengan paving block untuk raknya yang dapat meningkatkan keamanan dan efisiensi. Metodologi penelitian mencakup analisis data tanah, pembebanan rak, evaluasi pondasi dan plat beton eksisting, perencanaan pondasi alternatif yang dirancang dengan memperhitungkan daya dukung tanah dan pemampatan, serta perencanaan sistem perkerasan jalan menggunakan paving block dengan mempertimbangkan dari segi daya dukung dan tebal lapisan tanah. Selain itu, analisisnya melibatkan evaluasi volume material dan biaya untuk menentukan solusi yang paling ekonomis. Studi literatur dan data sekunder digunakan sebagai dasar untuk merancang pondasi yang sesuai dengan standar peraturan. Fokus penelitian dibatasi pada area penyimpanan rak bertingkat dan beban statis dari barang yang disimpan. Dalam hasil perencanaan Tugas Akhir ini didapatkan hasil pondasi dangkal eksisting terbagi menjadi 2 tipe dan pondasi sumuran dengan diameter luar 60 cm sebagai alternatif pondasi untuk menahan beban rangka baja didapatkan hasil yang aman. Lalu untuk menahan beban rak dengan perencanaan eksistingnya plat beton terbagi menjadi 2 tipe ukuran dimensi, pondasi raft sebagai alternatif pondasi terbagi menjadi 5 tipe ukuran dimensi, dan perkerasan lantai dengan paving block didapatkan hasil total lapisan perkerasan 58 cm serta didapatkan hasil yang aman. Perencanaan pondasi yang efektif untuk menahan beban rangka baja adalah pondasi dangkal eksisting dengan biaya RP 102.296.983 dan pondasi efektif untuk menahan beban rak adalah plat beton eksisting dengan biaya RP 1.752.877.186. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan rekomendasi pondasi yang optimal dan tahan lama untuk mendukung struktur warehouse PT. GREEN FIELD. Dengan pondasi yang tepat, warehouse ini diharapkan mampu menunjang kebutuhan operasional dan pertumbuhan bisnis PT. GREEN FIELD dalam jangka panjang. =====================================================================================================================================
PT. GREEN FIELD, located in Ngajum, Malang Regency, faces a major challenge in the construction of a new warehouse to support its growing operations. With multi-tiered rack designs capable of supporting loads up to 2,600 kg per tier, structural stability becomes a critical issue due to the poor condition of the native soil. Soil investigation data shows that hard soil layers are only found at a depth of 10–12 meters, making the existing shallow foundation planned at a depth of 2 meters and the existing concrete slab require re-evaluation. This thesis examines the feasibility of the existing conditions and proposes alternative solutions including well foundations (pondasi sumuran) for the warehouse structure, raft foundations, and a floor pavement system using paving blocks for the racking area to improve safety and efficiency. The research methodology includes soil data analysis, rack load evaluation, assessment of existing foundations and concrete slabs, and planning of alternative foundations that take into account soil bearing capacity and settlement. Additionally, pavement design using paving blocks is planned by considering soil strength and layer thickness. The analysis also includes material volume estimation and cost evaluation to determine the most economical solution. Literature studies and secondary data serve as the basis for designing foundations in accordance with regulatory standards. The scope of the study is limited to the racking storage area and static loads from stored goods. The final results of this thesis show that the existing shallow foundation is divided into two types, and a well foundation with an outer diameter of 60 cm is proposed as an alternative to safely support the steel frame structure. For the racking load, the existing concrete slab is divided into two types based on dimensional size, while the raft foundation as an alternative is categorized into five dimension types. The floor pavement system using paving blocks results in a total pavement thickness of 58 cm and is proven to be structurally safe. The most effective foundation to support the steel frame structure is the existing shallow foundation with a total cost of IDR 102,296,983, while the most effective solution for supporting the racks is the existing concrete slab, with a cost of IDR 1,752,877,186. The findings of this research are expected to provide optimal and durable foundation recommendations to support the PT. GREEN FIELD warehouse structure. With the right foundation, the warehouse is expected to meet operational needs and support the company’s long-term growth.
