Abstract

Magang merupakan bagian dari kurikulum wajib Program Studi Statistika Bisnis, Fakultas Vokasi, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) yang bertujuan memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata kepada mahasiswa. Penulis melaksanakan magang selama lima bulan di PT Krakatau Baja Industri (PT KBI), anak perusahaan PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk yang bergerak di bidang industri baja. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengaplikasikan ilmu statistika untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pembuatan form data entri, dashboard interaktif, infografis, statistika deskriptif, dan regresi logistik multinomial. Hasil magang meliputi form data entri yang mempermudah pencatatan kepegawaian, dashboard Human Capital Management yang menyajikan data secara visual dan real-time, serta infografis demografi yang memudahkan analisis tenaga kerja. Selain itu, penulis menyusun makalah analisis yang menunjukkan bahwa golongan jabatan, usia, partisipasi dalam program sehat, dan pemahaman staf terhadap preferensi karyawan merupakan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat karyawan untuk membeli makanan sehat secara rutin di kantin. Karyawan dengan golongan jabatan tinggi atau berusia di bawah 30 tahun memiliki minat paling tinggi terhadap pembelian makanan sehat.

Internship is a mandatory part of the curriculum in the Business Statistics Study Program, Vocational Faculty, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), aimed at providing students with real work experience. The author carried out a five-month internship at PT Krakatau Baja Industri (PT KBI), a subsidiary of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk engaged in the steel industry. This activity aimed to apply statistical knowledge to support decision-making in human resource management. The methods used included the development of a data entry form, interactive dashboard, infographics, descriptive statistics, and multinomial logistic regression. The internship outcomes included a data entry form that facilitates employee data recording, a Human Capital Management dashboard that displays data visually and in real-time, and demographic infographics that support workforce analysis. In addition, the author prepared an analytical paper showing that job level, age, participation in health programs, and staff understanding of employee preferences are factors that influence employees' interest in regularly purchasing healthy food in the company canteen. Employees in higher job levels or those under 30 years old were identified as the groups with the highest interest in purchasing healthy food.
