Abstract

untuk mendeteksi hidrokarbon melalui analisis perubahan amplitudo refleksi seismik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lapangan “BGNDLS” Cekungan Jawa Barat Utara, seluas 657 km², dengan mengintegrasikan analisis atribut AVO dan Fluid Replacement Modeling (FRM) untuk mengevaluasi potensi hidrokarbon. Atribut AVO, khususnya produk intercept dan gradient (a*b), digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi anomali yang mengindikasikan keberadaan gas atau minyak, sedangkan FRM memodelkan substitusi fluida (air, minyak, gas) guna menganalisis perubahan sifat elastik batuan seperti kecepatan gelombang P (Vp) dan densitas.Analisis persebaran nilai (a*b) di lapangan “BGNDLS” menunjukkan anomali tinggi di wilayah tengah dan tenggara, berkorelasi dengan struktur antiklin, yang mengindikasikan potensi hidrokarbon besar, terutama gas. Pada sumur ABG-1 dan ABG-2, FRM mencatat penurunan Vp dan densitas setelah substitusi ke minyak, didukung anomali AVO kuat, menunjukkan reservoar minyak. Sumur FVB-1 dan FVB-2 juga menampilkan respons serupa dengan bright spots pada Zona-2, mengindikasikan akumulasi gas, sementara FVB-3 menunjukkan perubahan minimal, mencerminkan potensi rendah. Zona-1 memperlihatkan dim spots dan flat spots, menandakan minyak dan batas kontak fluida.Integrasi AVO dan FRM berhasil mengidentifikasi zona prospek utama di wilayah tengah dan tenggara, didukung data sumur dan struktur geologi. Pendekatan ini memetakan distribusi hidrokarbon secara akurat, dengan ABG-1, ABG-2, FVB- 1, dan FVB-2 sebagai target eksplorasi prioritas, sedangkan FVB-3 memerlukan analisis lanjutan. Hasil penelitian menegaskan efektivitas metode ini dalam mengoptimalkan strategi eksplorasi hidrokarbon di lapangan “BGNDLS” dan cekungan serupa.

Amplitude Variation with Offset (AVO) is a key technique in the oil and gas industry for detecting hydrocarbons through the analysis of seismic reflection amplitude changes. This research was conducted in the "BGNDLS" field within the North West Java Basin, covering an area of 657 km², by integrating AVO attribute analysis and Fluid Replacement Modeling (FRM) to evaluate hydrocarbon potential. The AVO attribute, specifically the product of intercept and gradient (A*B), was used to identify anomalies indicating the presence of gas or oil, while FRM modeled fluid substitution (water, oil, gas) to analyze changes in rock elastic properties such as P-wave velocity (Vp) and density.The distribution analysis of (a*b) values in the "BGNDLS" field revealed high anomalies in the central and southeastern regions, correlating with anticline structures, indicating significant hydrocarbon potential, particularly gas. In wells ABG-1 and ABG-2, FRM noted a decrease in Vp and density after substitution to oil, supported by strong AVO anomalies, suggesting oil reservoirs. Wells FVB-1 and FVB-2 also displayed similar responses with bright spots in Zone-2, indicating gas accumulation, while FVB-3 showed minimal changes, reflecting low potential. Zone-1 exhibited dim spots and flat spots, signifying oil and fluid contact boundaries.The integration of AVO and FRM successfully identified primary prospect zones in the central and southeastern areas, supported by well data and geological structures. This approach accurately mapped hydrocarbon istribution, with ABG1, ABG-2, FVB-1, and FVB-2 as priority exploration targets, while FVB-3 requires further analysis.
