Abstract

Kendala navigasi di lingkungan kampus besar seringkali menjadi masalah bagi pengguna baru yang tidak mengenali letak gedung-gedung utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem navigasi berbasis Wi-Fi yang memudahkan pengguna dalam mencari lokasi dengan memanfaatkan jaringan Wi-Fi kampus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi SSID dan BSSID Wi-Fi di tiap gedung, yang kemudian disimpan dalam database. Sistem navigasi ini menggunakan MapTiler untuk memetakan titik lokasi dan Android Studio untuk mengintegrasikan antarmuka. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini mampu memberikan panduan lokasi yang akurat berdasarkan titik akses Wi-Fi terdekat.

Navigational challenges in large campus environments often pose issues for new users unfamiliar with the locations of key buildings. This research aims to develop a Wi-Fi-based navigation system that assists users in finding locations by utilizing the campus Wi-Fi network. Data collection is carried out by identifying Wi-Fi SSID and BSSID in each building, which are then stored in a database. This navigation system uses MapTiler to map location points and Android Studio to integrate the interface. Test results show that this application can provide accurate location guidance based on the nearest Wi-Fi access points.
